Lola's POV-
I guess expecting to get much time from Harry the day of the concert was ridiculous. I woke up the next morning to banging on the hotel room door with Valentino's voice yelling at us to wake up. Harry looked completely and utterly confused that he had woken up in his clothes, but quickly brushed it off and excused himself to change into a sweatshirt and pair of joggers. Meanwhile, Lorenzo and I were already out the door heading down to the lobby. We grabbed a coffee from the complimentary breakfast before meeting Valentino and the rest of the crew at the bus.
I was kind of shocked at how big it was. I had never been on bus bigger than the one I had taken to school growing up, but this one had red leather seats, a kitchen and lounge area, and even a room with bunks lining both the walls.
It took Harry about ten minutes before he joined us.
"Did you grab me coffee by chance?" he asked, wiping the tiredness from him eyes as he sat down next to me at the circular booth in the lounge area.
"Just use the Keurig" Lorenzo nodded toward the cabinet.
Pouting, he got up and began to make his coffee as the bus took off.
It didn't take too long to get the the American Airlines Center where the venue was. When we arrived, I tightly held Harry's hand as we made our way in. First, they took us to the stadium. It was absolutely massive. I had never seen so many seats in one place. It was really difficult to imagine how surreal it could possibly be to have all of them filled up. I would probably shit myself if I had to perform here...
There was basically this long, horrendously boring process of a sound check. I just waited on the front row with my AirPods in listening to one of my playlists while I worked on one of my songs in my Notes application.
Then Harry was taken somewhere to do his wardrobe, hair and makeup. I was invited to come, but I opted on exploring the venue more, and hopefully not getting too lost.
About an hour from the start of the show, a crowd was already forming outside. I could see it through the windows of the main hallways just inside the door. Honestly, I was kind of scared to be visible because I knew these girls would probably recognize me as Harry's girlfriend. I already had gained tens of thousands of followers on Instagram just because of this relationship. I had gotten to the point where I just didn't open the app or post anything because it would only result in blowing up my phone.
Eventually, I got a text from my dad.
Dad: I'm here.
Me: Do you know your seat number?
Dad: Yes! Can't wait to see you! Also, why am I the only man here?
I smiled at that. I knew how uncomfortable he must feel right now.
Me: The day is finally here that I get to drag you to a concert 😁
I clicked the power button on my phone to turn it off, then raced down the long hallways until I reached the door to the green room. Pushing it open, I found myself in another hallway, one much more narrow and dimly lit. I scanned each door until I found Harry's name. When I walked in, everyone around looked up at me.
"He's in the bathroom" Lorenzo, who was sitting on the couch, told me.
"It's fine" I went over and sunk down next to him, leaning my head against his arm.
"Tired?"
"A little" I admitted. "I'm scared to go find my seat because I don't want anyone knowing I'm here"
