Lola's POV-

I had begged Harry to tell me where we were going, however he wouldn't budge. In fact, the only information he told me about our plans was that I should dress "comfortably for some Autumn fun."

So I put on a grey sweater, some black skinny jeans and my Vans; then did some makeup and put my hair in two French braids. To top it off, I wore a beanie and some small, hoop earrings.

On the way to wherever we were going, I was persistent to find out our destination, but quite literally I got nowhere. Once we hit about an hour, I started to wonder just how long the ride would be. It couldn't be far, right? Wrong. One hour turned to two, and two into three before he pulled off at a rest area for a bathroom break and to grab some caffeine and food from a Starbucks on the next exit. That kind of indicated that there was still a ways to go. And sure enough, it wasn't for another two and a half hours that I realized we were nearing Santa Cruz.

"We drove all this way just to go to the beach?" I raised an eyebrow at me.

Chuckling, he shook his head. "Nope. We're not going to the beach"

"Then where?"

"No hints, Sunflower" he smirked.

Soon, it became apparent that we were not going to the beach, just like he had said. As the Santa Cruz mountains came into view, the road got steeper until we finally began the narrow climb.

"We're going up into the mountains?"

He nodded. "Hope you're not afraid of heights"

"Are we going on a hike?"

He glanced quickly at me. "No"

"Mountain fishing?"

"You really think I would take you to do mountain fishing on a date?"

"Okay, well I can't think of what else"

"What was one of the hints I gave you?"

"Dress comfortable?"

"And..?"

"Autumn fun?"

He gestured his hand as if I should have figured it out.

"A haunted house? Babe, if you're bringing me to a haunted house you're probably going to be dragging out my corpse because it would scare me to death..."

"It's not a haunted house"

"A Halloween...uhmm..."

"Don't think Halloween, think Autumn"

"Apple picking?"

"Close"

"Pumpkin patch?"

"Ding ding ding"

"Oh my gosh we're going to pick pumpkins?!" I exclaimed.

He cast me a grin.

"I haven't gone to one in literally forever! We used to go every year when I was little"

"We did, too" he pulled onto a side road, one that was gravel that had a white painted wooden sign directing us to the parking lot. "Then we used to bring them home to carve, which I was kind of thinking would be fun for us to do"

"YES!" I pumped my fist into the air. "But I could never figure out the printed patterns"

"I can teach you, or we can just freehand it, too"

"That's what we usually did"

"I also have candles so we can put one in" he added.

"Yessss"
