A couple of days later, Amara sat in the waiting room of the doctor's office. She had her hands in her lap, clenching and unclenching them nervously. She was also looking around, trying to keep her mind distracted. Soobin reached over and grabbed her hands into his, making her look at him.

He had to wear a disguise, since he'd come with her. He'd thankfully gotten permission from their manager to come. He had a hat, mask and sunglasses on.

"It's okay, just relax," he says, having to speak softly so nobody would hear his voice, in case somebody would recognize it.

"Amara?" a nurse called, getting their attention.

The two of them got up from their seats, making a couple of people look at them briefly, before looking away. They followed the nurse into the back. She brought them into the back, where she did the usual brief checkup on Amara. When she finished, she smiled.

"The doctor will be with you shortly," she said, before leaving them in the room.

Amara put her hands back in her lap, clenching them again. Soobin reached over and took her hand again.

"Hey, it's okay. You have to relax. Don't stress yourself out," he whispered. She nodded, doing her best to try and calm down. While they waited, he spoke soft words of encouragement.

The door opened and the doctor walked in, holding the clipboard with her information. He greeted them both with a smile. He sat in the stool and cleared his throat, about to talk about her. Until his eyes landed on the man next to her.

"Um... Would you mind stepping out for a moment, young man? I'm not sure if she'd want you to hear what I'm about to tell her. If she does want you to know, I'm sure she'll tell you after. But, for now, I'd rather respect my patient's privacy," he smiled politely.

Soobin nodded, remaining quiet, so the doctor wouldn't figure out his identity. He looked at Amara and caressed her face for a second, before getting up and leaving the room. She watched him leave, the door closing behind him. The doctor looked back to her, giving her another smile. He brought the stool over to her.

"I'm sorry if having him leave made you more stressed. But, I was unsure if you wanted him present or not," he explained,

"It's okay," she mumbled, clenching her hands again. "Is there something wrong with me? Is it bad?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"Well, no. You're perfectly healthy and there's nothing wrong with you. As for if this is bad, that will be your decision to make," he said, looking at her.

She looked at him confused. "What do you mean?" she asked him, frowning. He cleared his throat, taking a deep breath before speaking.

"You're pregnant."

The door to the office opened, to which Soobin looked up from his phone. Amara walked out, holding some paperwork. He got up from his seat, meeting her halfway. When they walked out of the clinic, he noticed that she had a blank look on her face.

"So, what was wrong? Is it serious?" he asked her, reaching over and about to take her papers to see.

She came back to reality as he did. "No!" she said loudly, surprising him and held the papers away from him.

He stared at her in shock at her outburst. She realized how she'd acted and looked away in shame.

"I'm sorry, I just... I'm fine, it's nothing serious. But... I'm not ready to say what the problem is. Not yet..." she said, feeling terrible for snapping at him.

Soobin pulled her into a tight hug, which she accepted and returned.

"Don't apologize. I should be the one sorry. I should've asked before just reaching out to grab it. Don't worry, you can tell me when you're ready. Don't tell me unless you are. I want you to be comfortable."
