Amara put down a bowl of hot ramen. It was the last thing she'd just finished cooking for their lunch. Heeseung noticed that it had spam in it, smiling when he saw that. He looked up at her, watching her sit down next to him. She made sure there wasn't anything missing, before settling in her seat. She looked over, seeing him staring at her.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" she asked him, raising her hand.

He reached over, touching her face before she did. She stared at him as he brushed his thumb over her cheek.

"No. You're beautiful," Heeseung said, smiling.

She blushed a little, averting her eyes. He rubbed her cheek one last time, before pulling his hand away.

"This is a nice surprise. Thank you," he said, referring to the ramen.

"Of course. I know it's one of your favorites. And I know you've had a hard day, so I wanted you to feel better," Amara smiled.

Heeseung looked at her again, smiling. She was the best and she didn't even know it. She was so doting and always put others first. Even if she was the one in pain or suffering. She still put others before her. That's what she did with TXT, and them before she dated that group. But, it seemed Heeseung and the others were the only ones who adored it. Those guys threw it all away, over something so stupid.

He watched as she put some of the ramen into her mouth, eating quietly. He came out of her thoughts, when she made a soft sound of pain. She winced, from having accidentally burnt her mouth. She didn't cool the ramen off enough. He reached over, making her look at him.

"Are you okay?" he asked softly.

She nodded, smiling some. Thankfully, it wasn't too bad. Just a small red mark on her mouth. She would be okay.

Amara drank some of her cold water, to help the stinging.

"I just realized that we never celebrated your birthday," Heeseung said, making her look over at him.

She put her glass down. "You're right. We didn't. Just how I prefer it," she said, picking up her chopsticks once more.

He reached over, putting his hand on her face again. She looked at him again.

"Maybe you don't like it. But, we'd love to celebrate it with you. We're your boyfriends, you're our girlfriend. It's our job," he smiled gently.

"I know. But, we can't now. It's already passed. Oh, well!" Amara said, grinning like an idiot.

She ate some more of her ramen. Heeseung watched her and laughed softly.

"We're going to celebrate it anyway. After lunch, we're going to call them and figure what to do," he said, eating as well. She looked at him, her eyes wide.

"That's not fair! It should be my choice!" she whined, pouting.

Heeseung put his chopsticks down and leaned over to her. He got really close to her, where she had to lean back slightly.

"If we let you decide everything, then you would feel upset about that, too. And you'd beg us to make the decisions for you. Saying how you're too small to make them on your own," he gave her his beautiful smile, but his eyes had different tones.

Amara looked at him, her heart pounding in her chest.

"I wouldn't say that. You're lying just so you can have an excuse to make choices for me," she huffed, rolling her eyes.

"I'm lying? Are you sure? Because the last time I checked, you were begging me to make rules for you," Heeseung smirked, brushing his hand over her face.

She widened her eyes, having not expected him to say that.

"Hey! That's.. that's not what actually happened!" Amara protested as he leaned away from her and went back to eating.

"Isn't it? I remember it very clearly." he said, chuckling.

"It isn't! You're leaving a lot out!" she whined loudly.

"Did I? Should I show you the messages, then?" he asked, taking out his phone,

Amara quickly stopped him, making him smirk again.

"Fine... Do what you want! You're not going to take no for an answer, anyway," she sighed, letting him win.

Heeseung laughed softly as she gave up so quickly. She pouted and started eating her ramen. He reached over, running his hand through her hair.

"You're so cute."

The two of them returned to eating in silence. Amara stared down at her food, chewing her lip nervously. Under the table, her hand was in her lap. She was holding the ring in it tightly. She wracked her brain for the right words, before finally speaking.

"Heeseung?"

Her words made him look over at her. He noticed she seemed nervous or worried about something. Which in turn made him worry that something was wrong.

"Yes?" he asked, not asking about her facial expressions. He would let her say on her own.

Amara lifted her hand from her lap, staring at it for a second, before reaching over the table. She put the ring down in front of him, to which he stared at it. He looked at her, a look on his face.

"We're not going through this again. I'm not taking it. It belongs--"

"I want you to put it on."

Heeseung stared at her, surprise visible on his face. He admitted to himself that he wasn't expecting her to ask him that. Especially since him or the others never officially asked her in the first place. They just asked her without actually asking. But, he got over his shock, replacing it with a smile. Amara looked up at him, watching as he took the ring and got out of his chair. He kneeled down next to her. He took her small hand in his bigger one. He rubbed his thumb over the back, still smiling. He looked up at her, his big doe eyes staring into hers

"Will you marry me?"

Amara stared down at him, her heart jumping up into her throat, before dropping back into her chest. She didn't mean to, but she started to tear up. She never thought she'd hear those words. At least, not being spoken to her anyway. Her tears slowly spilled down her cheeks, leaving salty rivers on her skin. She finally nodded, sniffling.

Heeseung smiled up at her, it reaching his eyes. He looked down, slowly sliding the ring on to her finger, making sure his own fingers brushed over hers. Once it was resting snugly on her finger, she sniffled again. When he let go of her hand, she was overwhelmed with happiness.

Amara suddenly wrapped her arms around his neck, jumping into his tall figure. Heeseung made a surprised noise, quickly putting his own arms around her waist, catching her. The two of them fell to the kitchen floor. A soft giggle left her mouth, holding him tightly.

"Of course I'll marry you."

Heeseung smiled and tightened his arms around her waist, holding her against his figure. She lifted her head to look up at him, smiling brightly.

"I love you, Bambi."

"나도 사랑해, 오키드. (I love you too, Orchid.)"
