A couple of hours later, Amara was sitting on the couch inside of the dorm. She was staring at the floor, blankly. She was still thinking about earlier. She could hear Jay talking to the others in the kitchen about it. They'd just gotten home a little bit ago, from doing their own shopping.
"Wait, he tried to talk to her? About what?" Seonwoo asked.
"I don't know. I didn't let him and she told him she didn't want to talk," Jay explained,
"It was probably about the breakup," Sunghoon said softly.
"Or the pregnancy." Riki added,
"Why would he suddenly care about that? They're the ones who left her alone," Jake said, sounding annoyed.
"That's what I don't get," Jay sighed.
"It was probably some sorry ass excuse," Heeseung scoffed, also sounding annoyed.
While all of them spoke, Amara continued to stare at the floor. She was confused by everything. She didn't know how to feel. She had so many different emotions running through her, that she wasn't sure which one to feel. Should she feel angry that Yeonjun tried to talk to her as if nothing had happened? Should she be depressed because she hasn't heard from or seen him in weeks, and he suddenly showed up asking to talk to her? Should she just brush it off and feel nothing, because he didn't deserve any of her emotions? She didn't know. She was very conflicted. She was so caught up in trying to figure this out, that she'd given herself a headache. She sighed and raised her hands to her face, rubbing her temples. She could feel a migraine forming in the back of her head. She couldn't deal with this right now. If she tried, she'd make herself stressed, and if she was stressed, that wouldn't have good results.
Amara fell over, hitting the couch cushions. She sighed heavily, closing her eyes. Jungwon came into the living room and saw her lying on the couch, with her face buried in it. He walked over and kneeled next to the couch, putting a gentle hand on her back. She turned her head, only revealing half of her face and looking at him. When she did, he tilted his head and gave her a smile. Seeing it and that cute dimple on his left cheek, made her feel somewhat better. She laid her head on the couch, so she could look at him fully.
"Are you feeling okay?" he asked her, rubbing circles into her back.
She sighed softly at his question. "I'm just confused as to why he suddenly wanted to talk after not hearing anything from him or the others, for weeks. Like, why all of a sudden?" Amara mumbled, frowning.
Continuing to think about this, only made her headache worse. She whined and buried her face back into the cushions. Jungwon frowned and gently ran his hand through her hair. He hated seeing her so stressed and in pain of any kind. He didn't know why Yeonjun had suddenly wanted to speak to her, after so many weeks of saying nothing. All he did know, was that it made him upset that TXT was putting her through this turmoil.
Jungwon sighed and took his hand from her hair. He got to his feet and grabbed the blanket off the back of the couch. He gently covered her with it, adjusting it so it was covering her completely. When he'd finished, he rubbed her back one last time.
"We're ordering take out for dinner," he tells her, before walking away to let her rest. She needed it.
