The next morning, Amara was woken up by how sore she was. All the places that had been hurt yesterday, were all aching badly. She whined softly, slowly turning her face into her pillow. For some reason, she felt a bit cold. Not in the sense that the apartment was cold, but in the way that somebody might feel if they were alone. She lifted her head, seeing the reason why she felt that way. Heeseung was gone. She sat up slowly and looked around, rubbing her eyes. She got out of bed and left her room, looking all over.

"Hee?" she called softly.

She didn't get a response. When she came to the front, she saw why. She was home alone. Amara rubbed her face, not thinking much of it. He'd most likely gone into work. She went back to her room, sinking back into her bed. She pulled the blankets up to her chin, picking her phone up off the bedside table. When she turned it on for the first time since coming back, she was instantly flooded with missed calls and missed text messages. Most of them were from Enhypen, of when she'd pulled her disappearing act. She also got a single message from Heeseung, from early this morning. She smiled when she saw that he'd confirmed her guess for going to work. The message read that he would come and take her out for lunch. She smiled softly seeing this. She clicked off her phone, putting it back on her bedside table. When she did, her fingers brushed something. She sat up to see what it was.

It was her ring.

Amara stared at it in surprise. The last time she'd seen it, was when she gave it to Heeseung, before running out of their dorm, the night their manager called her. He must have brought it when he went to get her. She picked it up and looked at it, the silver glinting softly. She chewed on her lip, sighing. She laid back down, holding it up. She thought about putting it on, before changing her mind. She smiled to herself, getting a better idea. She put the ring back on her table and stared up at the table. She hummed softly and happily, at how good of an idea it was.

Later on that day, Amara was playing a game on her phone. The sound of her front door opening, pulled her attention away from the game. She clicked it off and looked over. The familiar figure of Heeseung walked into her living room. When he saw her, he came over to her.

"How was--" she didn't finish what she was saying, due to him falling on the couch, his head landing on her lap.

She looked down at him, surprised. She saw how tired he was. She put her phone down, before placing her hand on his head. She heard him let out a heavy sigh.

"Is everything okay?" Amara asked softly.

"Just tired. Today was stressful. We had to do a rehearsal with TXT, to honor the legends of kpop. It was so hard for us to just smile and act friendly with them. I couldn't stop thinking about how they treated you," Heeseung mumbled.

She frowned as she heard this. But, not for her. For him. Amara gently ran her fingers through his fading pink hair.

"We don't have to go out. I'll cook something for us instead," she said, smiling.

It's been a while since she's cooked for anyone that wasn't her. "I would really love that," he said, his voice sounding a bit more relaxed.

She smiled more. She brushed both of her hands through his hair, making him feel better. He closed his eyes, relaxing. He slid one of his hands under her thigh, turning his face into her warm skin. She watched him do this, finding it cute.

She loved how cute he was.
