The room was silent and dark. There was the white noise of a fan being on, but nothing else. Amara was lying on the bed, staring blankly into the darkness. She had her head resting on his chest, listening to the steady beating of his heart. He was breathing slowly, but she knew he was awake. He had his arm around her waist, with his other arm under his head. The silence lasted a bit longer, before she spoke.

"Are you sure I'm not a burden?"

Her question made Heeseung open his eyes.

"I'm positive. A hundred percent sure," he said quietly,

She listened to his husky voice as he said these things. She could hear that he was tired. So was she. She breathed in deeply, before sighing heavily. He heard this and shifted underneath her a bit. He removed his arm from under his head and wrapped that one around her waist as well, pulling her flush against him.

"We would never make you think that. The last thing we'd do, is break your heart. And if we ever do, f I ever do... I'd be on my knees, begging you to forgive me. And I would never stand again, unless you did," he said.

Amara scoffed softly. "You'd end up standing again," she sighed again,

"I really wouldn't. Trust me. You're the best thing that's ever happened to all of us. We'd never let that go. The only time we'd let you go, is if you told us to. And I highly doubt that we'd let you go, even then. You mean too much to us. We love you very much."

Hearing Heeseung say these things, made her chest swell. She turned her face into chest, taking in his smell and his cologne. She curled up into his side. He let go of her long enough, to pull the blankets up over them even further.

"Get some sleep. You really need it. I'll be here when you wake up, I promise," he kissed her head softly, holding her tightly against him.

Amara relaxed in his arms, closing her eyes. She breathed softly, eventually letting herself fall asleep. Heeseung felt this happen, and turned his face into her hair. He closed his own eyes, falling asleep shortly after her.
