The TV in the living room displayed the Disney movie, Brother Bear. It was on the scene where Kenai was telling Koda about his mother. The Phil Collins song began playing quietly. Amara was struggling to stay awake, but it was proving to be a tough fight. Her head was falling every now and then, with her quickly lifting it back up and looking at the TV. After the fourth time, she lost the fight. Her eyes closed and her head fell to the side, landing on Jungwon's shoulder.

He looked away from the movie, to see she had fallen asleep. He smiled softly and wrapped his arm around her waist, holding her close. He lifted a hand and reached over, gently brushing some of her hair from her face. She stirred some, but didn't wake. The silence was interrupted, when her phone started vibrating. Somebody was calling her. He reached over, picking it up and looked at the caller ID.

Jungwon frowned when he saw it was Beomgyu. He debated on waking Amara up, answering it himself, or hanging it up. After a moment, he sighed and hung up the call. He put the phone back on to the table. He took his arm from her and got up. He turned and slid his arms under her, picking her up. She tiredly reached up and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. He adjusted her in his arms and carried her to her room. He went inside the bedroom and went over to the bedside. He put one of his knees on the mattress, gently laying her down. He let go of her and was about to move away, when she gently grabbed his hand, stopping him.

"Don't leave. Stay with me," Amara mumbled in exhaustion.

Jungwon looked down at her and smiled gently. He brushed more of her hair out of her face.

"Alright," he said softly,

He moved his leg off the blankets, lifting them up and climbing in beside her. When he was in a comfortable position, he pulled the blankets over himself and her. Once he was settled, she rolled over on to her side. Jungwon watched as Amara curled into his side, laying her head on his chest.

"Thank you for staying with me," she yawned through her words.

"Of course. That's what friends do, stay with you when you need it," he said softly

After a moment or two of silence and quiet breathing, Amara shifted some, cuddling closer to her friend. Jungwon looked down at her, gently wrapping his arms around her again. When he did, she felt his warmth and like she was safe from everything.

"Goodnight, Wonnie."

"Goodnight."
