A few days had dragged by slowly and painfully. Amara had willingly made the decision to live with her father for a while. Even though he was abusive beyond hell. But, she had nowhere else to go, without the guys being told.

Her father hadn't changed one bit. Her and her mom had hoped if he stopped drinking, that would be a difference. But, it wasn't. He was the same even when sober. Amara knew that was she putting herself and her baby at big risk, moving in with him.

But... She couldn't afford a hotel. At least not one outside of the dangerous neighborhoods. And her mother didn't live in Korea. She stayed in the States. And she couldn't go to Jisoo, because she would tell the boys where she was.

Today was no different for her father's abusive behavior. Thankfully, he would only hit her in the face or the back of her head. She was in the middle of setting the table for dinner, when he got mad about the smallest thing.

"Why are you useless? You're not good at anything you do!" he yelled at her.

Usually, she would've yelled back. But, she couldn't afford to do that. So, she stood there and took it all. Just like she used to, before she got brave. He scoffed and smacked her across the face, her head jerking to the side. She felt her cheek sting harshly.

"I'm not eating this! This looks like a poor man's food!" her father snapped, sweeping the dishes to the floor, making them shatter.

She watched this, frowning. "It's not, I bought it at it's stocked price. It was very expensive," Amara said softly, her father glaring at her.

He scoffed and got to his feet, looming over her. As he did, she fell silent. He roughly grabbed her by the wrist and started shaking her.

"Watch your mouth. You're nothing more than a pathetic and useless toy! No man will ever love you. And if they ever tell you that, they're lying to you, because they feel sorry for you. No man will love you unless it's pity!" her father struck her across the face with the back of his hand, making her whimper softly.

He didn't stop there, like usual. He roughly shoved her away from him, making her stumble. When she didn't fall, he struck her harshly in the face again, multiple times. He got frustrated, shoving her to the floor on her knees. Her father landed a violent kick into her side, making her cry out loudly. Which was a surprise to him. He scoffed, thinking she was just trying to get attention. He shoved her to the floor on her side and kicked her once in her stomach.

The screams coming from the house, is what caught his attention. The house he was looking for. He ran up to the door and banged on it loudly.

"Amara? Amara open the door!" he yelled.

He grabbed the handle, trying to open it. It was locked. The screaming and crying inside, continued. He cursed loudly, stepping back and began kicking the handle. After a few times, the door finally broke open, swinging and hitting the wall. He ran inside the house and stopped when he saw what was going on.

Her father stopped what he was doing and looked over his shoulder, seeing a random young man standing in the hallway.

"Who the fuck are you?" her father snapped angrily.

He had a tight grip on her hair, keeping her from going anywhere. She was holding his arm that had the grip. She had bruises and cuts littered all over her hands, arms, face, and neck. A small river of blood leaked from her mouth. Amara finally looked to see who her father was snapping at. When she saw who it was, her eyes widened.

"Heeseung?"

His tall figure stood in the hallway in shocked silence, after seeing what was going on. When he realized everything happening, he lost it.
