A/N I am really sorry that I didn't update, I was a bit overwhelmed by my midterms....Although thank you for reading this story! Enjoy this new mystery that is Amelia d'Assy

****************************

Amelia had always enjoyed reading. There was a saying that readers had already lived countless of life whereas others lived only once. She quite agreed with that saying. The lady really enjoyed reading, it make her relax a bit occasionally.

When there was nothing to do, she liked to read near the fireplace in winter or on a gloomy day. She liked to try to predict the ending of books. What was nice in a book?

It was like entering in another universe, everything and nothing was possible. If only one could make things happen like this in real life. Wouldn't it be interesting?

....

Phantomhive's Manor

"What are you doing here again?" Ciel bitterly said while turning the page of his far too big journal.

"Do I have to have a reason to visit my favourite cousin?" She also said turning a page of her book.

"Usually, I would say that you have one. Whether it be because you are bored or that something interesting is about to happen." He said eyeing suspiciously his relative who was casually doing as if nothing.

Amelia simply sighed. Can't her cute little cousin be glad that she took time to visit him? No, it was too much to ask. Sometimes, she was wondering which one was the oldest, he was already turning in a grumpy old man.

He was just thirteen years old for God's sake! It made her get a headache to even start to think about Ciel's case, it was a lost cause. She knew it, but one could have some hope.

Although, she forgave him with all the interesting things that she had the pleasure to witness by following him around these two past years. She knew that it was far from being over.

She smirked when she heard some noise, something noteworthy was indeed about to happen. Her smirk became a Cheshire smile.

Her day had begun well, she arrived at her maternal family's home to see a few oddities. With one glance, she knew that they had some undesirable guests. It wasn't a dull few days at the Phantomhive's.

From what she deduced; she should be careful around these seemingly carefree servants. They were just waiting to bite the one that dared to threaten their master. Maybe she should start to collect her own personal army of servants.

As she was seriously considering it, she heard louder screams. She put down her book and took the cup of tea in front of her. The door exploded, Ciel jumped while Sebastian quickly went before him to protect Ciel.

Amelia discreetly got out a knife from behind her dress, she threw it in the smoke. They all heard the impact on someone as the smoke disperse. Two men wearing white uniforms emerged from it while came behind trailing the three servants all dishevelled.

The three of them had a fierce look in their eyes, but Sebastian signalled them to recompose themselves. They nodded and stand still but ready to jump on the intruders.

"My lady, it seems that you have lost something!" beamed the first one, which was, of course, Grey.

He bowed lightly and gave her back her dagger while deposing a kiss on her cheek. She blushed a bit but her cousin didn't see it.

"Thank you, my dear."

Charles Philips coughed try to bring back his colleague to the main reason of this visit.
