1885, Three years before, Phantomhive, September
"Onee-chan !" screamed Ciel running towards Amelia.
The Lady simply let the boy have his way and ran around her smiling. The mole at the side of his eye was especially a prominent feature.
"Amelia, what a pleasure to see you and your companion." Rachel Phamtomhive née Dalles. She went down the stairs gracefully.
The only daughter of Charlotte d'Assy née Phantomhive wasn't a fool, she knew that underneath the kind façade* of the Countess Phanthomhive there was an iron lady. None could survive in this family as in law without some hidden strength. Her father was the prime example of this. Behind Amelia was Sherlock Holmes.
Time passed, they grew up. Many gentlemen were looking for her company and even the Holmes were teased by their parents about that subject. Grey become more implicated in his courtship. He refused any courtship of other ladies and chased any other lord too near her. This figth for her attention always resulted to many fight of honour during the season. It was starting to be embarassing. Ciel looked at Sherlock and immediately, Amelia knew that they didn't like each other.
"Is this your fiancée?" inquired her aunt.
That was what Amelia was talking about. Her aunt was more cunning than she appeared, asthma or not. Ciel seemed to be about to launch himself on Sher and the Holmes seemed to be looking around to find the easiest way of harming him while still walking away from it.
"No, he is Sherlock Holmes, Liam's comrade and my friend." She said lightly hitting Holmes. Making the detective straightened.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, Countess Phantomhive." He said, remembering his good manners.
Amelia was interiorly crying, all these hours along Mycroft to drill it to him weren't for naught.
"Oh, interesting." Her aunt said cryptically. "I suppose that you are here on the behalf of Charlotte to see your uncle?"
Amelia nodded. The Lady of the house indicated her the small salon at the other end of the manor. Tanaka took the lead to show them. The young lady knew that she wouldn't hear the end of this. When she encountered both Mycroft and her uncle, she was explained how men could be vicious, especially older ones. She had to be wary. Little did they know that her mother had already given her advices on the matter.

Weston College, May
"Liam, I am bored and I may have annoyed yet again my préfet." Said lazily Sherlock Holmes his head on the shoulder of Liam d'Assy which was doing his Latin homework or maybe it was his. He didn't know anymore.
The foreign-looking teenager simply smiled at him. It made his heart flustered. The same way than his twin sister makes him act out of the ordinary. Although with Liam, it was more of a brotherhood relation. He could mess around more than with Amelia in a different way.
"Are you soon going to tie the knot?" inquired Sebastian Wilkes, arriving behind the two boys.
That damn member of the Red House. Him and his gang always pestered Liam. It was utterly useless and not fun at all.
"Oh, Wilkes. No, I am sorry to say so but I think that Holmes would rather do this with my younger sister." Liam said closing the book of his homework. He was smirking.
Oh he just knew where to hit to make him fluster. Sherlock involuntary blushed whereas the other boys were standing there annoyed.
"As if you could have one of the most sought-after lady, you are nowhere her level." Wilkes answered harshly.
