Trafalgar Square, early morning

"I will be the Crime Lord." A small kid in working clothes.

"No, I don't want to be a nobleman again." Argued another kid.

"Then I shall be Amelia d'Assy, she is in fact in the Crime Lord's side." Said a blond girl with two twin tails.

The workers were observing the kids playing among themselves eating Funtom company sweets. The adults sighed looking at them.

"They shouldn't praise that much of the Crime Lord. We don't know the motives of this so-called hero. Children would do better to admire this new member of the parliament which try to fight for us. "Said an older man.

"Yes, Adam Whiteley. But you can always support Lady Amelia d'Assy, she is definitely our ally. She is always running fundraiser and soirees to educate our children or sponsor orphans." Said the other worker smiling.

As they started rambling how she was better than all the other noblemen who were so-called allies to their social class, William James Moriarty passed by. Adam Whiteley was certainly an interesting ally in what their group was trying to achieve.

....

Outside of the Whiteley's house, early morning

"I would inquire what you are doing in my carriage but I fear your answer." Said Adam Whiteley.

He had boarded his carriage alongside his escort of Scotland Yard. Since the bomb which almost explode the other day, Scotland Yard had dispatched a policeman to protect him. Then as he was on his way to the parliament, he opened his carriage to not find it empty but occupied by a lady. Not any lady, but Lady Amelia d'Assy.

"Indeed, but I would say that you are going to want what I have to tell you." Said the Lady with a rare smile which everyone knew was only reserved to Count Charles Grey, Lord Sherlock Holmes and more recently Lord William Moriarty.

"Oh and what do you possess that I might be interested in?" dared to ask the parliament member.

"This is the list of the corruption and collusion with the Mafia of the Tory [conservative party] and even some of the Whig Party  of the House of Lords which are opposed to your inclusive voting bill." She said handing him a large craft letter.

"How do I know that this is not a trap or even real?" he challenged her.

He was no fool, he might be a small viscount with no land and a small fortune compared to his fellow member of the parliament. Although, he knew that the Lady was rather a central character of the Good society, her words were laws even more than these of the Queen. She ended opposing member of her views easier than any political figures.

"Simple, the recent case of Arterton corruption case. I was vaguely linked to it but here is the details of the bribes that he took." She said handing him another sheet.

Adam read it and was surprised this was real, the House of Lords let the parliament have a glimpse and it matches with what he had seen. This was real.

"Then why haven't you given this to Lord Mycroft Holmes?" couldn't help asked the Lady.

Although from the expression of Lady Amelia, he had crossed the line. Damn that was why he would rather prefer that ladies had the right of the vote and to participate in politics. They were currently in a in between the rise in power of the ladies among the society but still having not official rights according to the law.

"Because I know what he will do with it, whereas in your case Lord Whiteley, I think that you will know just how to use it. Although, I am curious as to if you will reveal this to pressure the other members of the parliament or reveal it to everyone. Which one will you choose? This is way more interesting than to se Mycroft handling it as usual." She said hitting the roof of the carriage.
