Paris, French Docks, Afternoon

"Cela fait tellement longtemps que ne nous sommes pas vu ! [It has been a long while since I have last seen you!]" said his aunt Charlotte d'Assy using this very opportunity to embarrass him.

Ciel Phantomhive sighed deeply. How did Amelia managed to convince him to make this trip? This had to do with the fact that she may have hinted that the French pastries were to kill for. No, he did not have a sweet tooth. The Count of Phantomhive could never have a weak spot for dessert, don't be absurd.

"Yes, dear Aunt but would mind sparing me?" mumbled Ciel with half-pleading eyes.

Although, it had the opposite effect on his aunt. She only intensified her public display of affection for him. Behind him was Amelia discreetly laughing at him.

"Haven't your French improved since the last time?" mischievously pointed out Liam d'Assy, the twin of Amelia barely dressed.

He was simply wearing a shirt with a brown overcoat without a waistcoat and black plants. His black hair was alike Amelia but in a messier state. He made him think of Sherlock Holmes. This annoyed him already. He wasn't on good terms with this other cousin.

"Of course, it did. He is just too exhausted to use it." Came to his rescue the eldest son of Aunt Charlotte, Matthew d'Assy. The heir of the title.

A stoic yet very calm and understanding member of his family. He wished that his family was made of people like him. Although, he could be very cunning, and his schemes were like moving sand in books. Once you have realized that you are sinking, it is too late, you have apparently already fallen for his trap.

"Ce n'est pas vrai, j'ai seulement été surpris par l'accueil chaleureux de ma tante préférée[It is not quite true, I was merely surprised by the warm welcome of my favourite aunt]" tried to argue the Count Phantomhive.

"All of you stop trying to find fault in your youngest cousin." Scolded them all his uncle Count Charles d'Assy.

"We were doing nothing of the sort, I can assure you, father." Said Liam exchanging a knowing look to his twin. To which Ame simply cracked up and started laughing.

"Yes, of course, my dearest children." Answered Charles d'Assy. Then he looked at Sebastian attentively. "This is the new butler of the Phantomhive house? He is very different from Tanaka."

This made his demon butler perked up at this comparison to Tanaka. Ciel knew that the butler had been more alike himself before the murder of his family but now he had his moment of absence. He could no longer be the butler.

"Yes, my lord. I am Sebastian Michaelis." Said the Greater Demon bowing but Ciel could already see sparks between his uncle and him.

"I hope that you will be able to take great care of my nephew and my only daughter." Almost threatened the Count d'Assy.

"Of course, after all, I am simply one hell of a butler." Answered his butler a tad annoyed.

The mentions of Hell made his uncle darkened his glare. Ciel never knew that he could look so threatening, he took him only as a fool for his wife, children and extended family.

"Now that it is settled, Amelia is ours!" stated Liam wrapping his arms around his cousin.

"What, no!" argued Ciel impulsively.

"It is not fair, you can always spend time with her whereas we can't. We have to spoil our little sister while we are all gathered in one place." Said as a matter-of-fact Matthew d'Assy.

"It is not like a petit garçon like you can properly take care of the entertainment of a lady like my sister." Continued Liam. He started laughing at him <
