In the room of Simens, 1:10 AM
"He is dead.....!"
"I believe he is, he isn't breathing..." said William James Moriarty putting his hand under his nose while the physician was really starting to interiorly panic.
"What is going on here? Why is everyone making so much noise?" Complained Ciel Phantomhive that arrived in a dressing gown with the other servants.
"It seems that Georg von Siemens died, dear Cousin" Amelia said darkly, preventing him from saying anything else.
Irene passed out in the arms of Grimsby while the writer went nearer to the body, everyone had a pale face. It was complete silence.
"Wasn't he alone?" Observed Arthur
"It is true, we had to force the door to open it." Said the Butler.
"How did he die then?" Questioned Grimsby
"Would you like to enlighten us, professor?" Ciel suggested
Arthur Conan Doyle started to sweat a lot while everyone looked at him expectantly.
"It may have been a closed murder, the door was closed from outside by..."
Moriarty turned his explanation off. It was interesting, but it wasn't that. He just knew it. Even if he verified the body himself, something was amiss. There had to be more than that, there wasn't enough blood, usually it left marks on objects nearby. When someone was shoot, it was bound to leave traces of blood on at least one object. Although, in this situation there wasn't any, and he wasn't even killed by a gun. If he had to guess, it looked like it was a blade. He tried to get Amelia's attention, which was like every other guests listening to Mr. Doyle's explanation. She looked at him when she felt his gaze on her. They exchanged a confused look but the lady gestured that he should let go of the matter. He sighed. When the Lady sent him the invitation, he was simply curious. William James Moriarty wasn't usually showing himself in soirees. He preferred to stay in the shadows when he could. Although, he couldn't pass on this opportunity to observe this lady among her peers.
Amelia d'Assy, a foreign piece on his board game, she seemed approachable and kind, but this lady was immensely more complex to decipher than that. One moment, she was a well-behaved lady the other she was acting as if she was raised in the Est end, like a ferocious beast which was waiting for the opportunity to bite where it could hurt the most. It was fascinating. At first, when he analyzed her cousin, it was the opposite of her. He was acting like a child even if he was trying to be an adult already. His actions seemed to be guided by his feelings alone, he had inherited like Amelia the thirst to achieve his goals and to make his thoughts look unreadable. Although, it was less unpredictable. Moriarty was able to say that he wasn't one to mess up with and that he felt that he was part of a greater scheme in good society. He couldn't tell what, but the child wasn't as innocent as it seemed. Just his way of staying perfectly composed before a dead body said a lot about this child.
Even though, he wasn't deserving as much of his attention than his older cousin, he was reasonably interesting. William felt that he should limit his interest to only one member of this family, especially when he had the feeling that the Count Phamtomhive had already his own spectator.
"Then, it means that any of us could have killed him..." Said the Chinese man
The second-oldest Moriarty swore that he had already seen this man somewhere. He didn't know where, but he was very relevant in his study of Amelia d'Assy. It was obvious that they had a deep bond. After all, she was one quart Chinese, but it went beyond that. He would soon find out, the only fact that their informant couldn't find any information on her relationships was worth mentioning. How many other acquaintances or friends did she have that were possibly breathing clues of her true nature?
