Sigma's office is beautiful. There's a chandelier on the tall ceiling, two tall windows to let in a lot of light and the walls are lined with bookshelves. Most of the books seem to be related to the casino, but you spot some that look like normal books here and there. The office is not eerily empty like Mori's, but it's filled with organized clutter. Stacks of papers lie at every corner and you almost bump into a few of them while navigating towards the main desk.

When you reach the desk, you realize you and Sigma are not alone. Nikolai Gogol is sitting on the desk, his back turned to you. Fyodor Dostoyevsky is flipping through a book in his spot on a comfortable chair. Sigma's calm demeanour doesn't change when he realizes you finally arrived.

"Welcome," he starts. "Lazarus has informed me about a certain situation that has happened. Would you mind telling me more about it?"

Nikolai turns to get a look at you, and his eyes sparkle manically. "Would you look at that, Dostoy!" He jumps off the desk, twirls around, takes off his top hat and bows in your direction. "How wonderful it is to meet you!" The white-haired man comes closer and grabs both of your hands. You feel heat rise to your cheeks. "My name is Nikolai Gogol! And I have a quiz for you! Who do you think my dear friend over there is?"

Fyodor shuts his book and gets up himself. You open your mouth to answer but catch yourself before you can say anything. HE steps closer.

"Ding, ding! The correct answer is Fyodor Dostoyevsky! This is my good friend Dostoy!" Gogol waves his hands around, like his friend is some sort of prize you just won.

Fyodor extends his hand and gives you an ethereal smile. "Nice to meet you. Would you mind giving me a name to match to your face?"

Without thinking you sputter out your name and shake his hand. It's so gentle...

Fyodor's smile widens. "I see. That is a beautiful name. It fits you."

Sigma coughs and addresses you. "I'm so sorry, please ignore my associates," he turns to the two of them. "And the two of you, please leave my guest alone." His attention is on you again. "You were here for something? Please, take a seat."

Sigma sits behind his desk, and you sit on one of the chairs close to it. Nikolai throws himself on the chair next to you, while Fyodor decides to stand on your other side, his arm gently placed on the backrest, very close to your shoulders. Sigma's grey eyes pierce through you as he waits for your answer. How are you even supposed to think in a situation like this?!

You take a deep breath and try to shorten the story as much as possible. "Alright, after you notified the Special Division about the criminals hiding in your casino, I was the one assigned to arrest them. I've completed my job, like an hour ago or so." You decide to leave the fact you used your ability, Edmund and the interview he held with the thieves out. It's for the best.

Sigma's brow furrows in confusion. "Wait, what did you just say? That I notified the Special Division and asked for help?"

You nod and look around the room. Fyodor looks down at you. "Also, what criminals are you talking about?"

The three of them look genuinely lost. This is a first. ".... Do you not know?"

You explain the situation. Fyodor and Nikolai look amused, while Sigma frantically searches through dozens of papers.

"I never called! Besides, Morishita and Kurosawa you said? I don't have any record of the two of them signing in. This shouldn't be possible. How could I have possibly missed this?!"

"Now, now, Sigma. Everything is resolved now; you have no reason to worry. This kind detective managed to get everything in order." Fyodor places a hand on your shoulder while comforting Sigma. "You should focus on taking care of the customers. They must be quite distressed after hearing two wanted criminals were hiding so close to them. I will find out who is the sinful person behind this and purify them from their sins."

What does he mean by 'I will find out'? Does that mean he truly doesn't know why and how the thieves got here? How strange. And the strange talk about sin... Your eyes widen just slightly, the dark purple eyes following your every movement. You completely forgot! Here you are, acting all casual, when you don't even know what Fyodor's ability really is! True, you've read some theories but who knows which one (if one at all) is correct. This is dangerous. You almost let yourself slip into the comfort of ignorance.

Nikolai nods his head vigorously. "Yeah! Dostoy will find out who's behind this without a problem!" His hand is placed on his chin dramatically, and the clown starts to think out loud. "People love performances. How about I host a magic show? I'd gladly perform! I've got a few splitting tricks inside my overcoat! Hahahaha!"

Sigma's face contorts into a deadpan. "Huh? I'm not going to put on a magic show for my guests. But... I might consider something similar... I'll host a formal ball for the guests to calm down and to apologize to them for the disturbances," he decides. The man turns towards you. "Alright, detective. You have my deepest gratitude for your assistance. Off you go now." A determined look crosses across his face. "I've got so much to do and so little time!"

Fyodor takes your hand and escorts you towards the door. The dark-haired young man mumbles into your ear, which sends shivers down your spine. "I hope we meet again, detective." No matter how attractive he might be, you strongly disagree in your mind. However, if you do meet him again, you'll have to be careful. Somehow, his calm and confident demeanour makes you relax, despite the fact that you're aware what kind of person he is. You can't allow that to happen ever again. Not with him.

The last thing you see before the door is shut closed is Nikolai, standing on a desk and waving at you. "I'll see you soon! I'll have an excellent magic trick prepared for when we meet again!"
