.Looking down Sebastian noticed how the Neko's purrs had stopped and his ear were now flat on his head. Those blue gems were pleading with Sebastian for something as his arm was tugged again.

"Please stay with me? I don't want to be alone." His voice was small, but it warmed up Sebastian's heart as he noticed how Ciel was then nervously wringing his tail. Sebastian nodded and made a motion for Ciel to move over before getting to to bed, leaning over and turning off the lamp on the table. As the room descended into darkness Ciel gave off a frightened mew, but then he was curling and snuggling into Sebastian's side. Nuzzling his head into Sebastian's chest and purring as he slowly fell asleep, in Sebastian's arms keeping him safe from the nightmares.

"Goodnight kitten..".....

.... It was around nine in the morning when Sebastian woke, his mind clouded thinking that yesterday was just a dream. Thinking that he was going to get up and make his usual morning porridge with a banana. Sebastian hoped it wasn't a dream though, the idea of this angel that was created in the image that he simply adored. A cat, with a unique personality, just like a labyrinth.

The faint sound of purring was what made Sebastian smile in content. It was true! It did happen! He couldn't help but smile as a blue tinged tail started to wave and bat underneath the covers; creating a low thump against the mattress.
Sebastian craned his head to look at the Neko, those twitching ears and slightly parted lips. It was an adorable sight for a work day... Wait. Sebastian started to do a little shifty thing trying not to dance as he realised that today was a Friday. It was on,y Monday to Thursday that he actually worked, and that was only for a couple of hours.

It was the thing that Sebastian loves the most about being a vet. Small hours, but good pay. The only times that he really ever did spend more than three hours at work was when he was called in for a operation or briefing. With a sigh the vet looked down at the Neko, realising now that the kitten was awake and lookup up at him with bleary eyes. Un focused and yet he was still smiling lightly at Sebastian.

"G'morning. Want breakfast?" Sebastian chirped with a lopsided grin brightening up his face, he was looking forward to watching the kitten eat again.

Ciels face turned into one of thought as he mulled over this 'breakfast.' He had heard of it before and yet never got the experience of it, what did breakfast entail. And he didn't know what it was. All thanks to the lab men who insisted that Ciel only ever eat once a week. The...the bastards! All just to make the Neko weak and so that he would not fight against the injections!

He didn't realise that he had let a tear slip until Sebastian wiped a tear from his blossoming cheeks, being gentle as to not catch him with a nail. In return Ciel mewed sadness and looked at Sebastian questionably.

"Umm. Sebastian, what exactly is breakfast? And, what does it entail?" Ciel asked, only to be met with a shocked face from Sebastian...

...half an hour later Sebastian watched, amazed as the kittens eyes widened into saucers as he tasted earl grey tea. His ears perking and tail flicking erratically. It was a sight to behold, and a sight that Sebastian wanted to see every morning.
A Neko, sitting in Sebastian's kitchen only wearing a pyjama top. The radio was playing quietly in the background as Ciel tried cheeses and tuna toasted for the first time (there originally would be no tuna. "Ciel. Why were you on the street?" Sebastian asked suddenly causing Ciel to freeze up. His spine going rigid and his tail to puff up. Swallowing sharply the Neko looked at Sebastian with matching blue orbs. His eyes telling stories way beyond his years, they were filled with stories of days that were there and days that could have been. All of the stories the Neko could tell.

Ciel didn't want to be seen as weak and be pushed out. He was scared enough already. He was hoping that Sebastian got the message with just looking into the kittens eyes that he would not say. At least not yet.
Then as Ciel hoped, Sebastian did get the message.
Smiling at the kitten and telling the kitten about his job, describing what his day to day life was about and talking about his 'acquaintance' Claude.
Ciel couldn't help but smile as Sebastian described his life. How the kitten wished that he could have a life like that. But he knew he would be leaving soon, he couldn't stay with Sebastian forever. He already had a rather demanding job, and Ciel was not needed.
It did damper the Neko's mood a little. But to know Sebastian and meeting him was enough to keep him happy for a while more. But he didn't notice when Sebastian had stopped talking and was now looking at Ciel with concern. When his ear was scratched was when Ciel realised that he was being called out to.

"Yes Sebastian?" He asked innocently, trying not to nuzzle into the hand that was currently petting him. But suddenly stopped as Sebastian deemed a serious expression.
"Can I ask you a serious and to you, a life changing question?"....
