"Okay, I wrote down some ideas." Taehyung said as he sat beside Jungkook at the dining table in his hotel room, sliding Jungkook the piece of paper they were now calling the contract. The two had been snuggling for the past hour, and Taehyung had fallen asleep in Jungkook's arms, and even though Jungkook's arm got pins and needles; he didn't dare move for the entire hour, instead, watching Taehyung dream peacefully. Once Taehyung woke up, the two moved to the living room to discuss their little deal, and Taehyung scribbled some ideas down on a sheet of paper.
Jungkook glanced over the ideas Taehyung had already written:
1. Honesty isn't expected 100% of the time, unless it's safety related stuff
(Taehyung explained to Jungkook that that meant if one of them had an STD, for example, then they were required to tell the other about it, but if, for example, one of them wanted to know something else not related to their own health about the other person, that person in question would not have to tell the truth or give an answer if they did not choose.)
2. No nicknames, because it's cringey. (Unless they're used in the bedroom for sexual purposes only)
(Taehyung made sure to add that dirty name calling was allowed; of course.)
3. Both are aware that the relations they share should not be labelled as 'dating' or 'involved' and nor are they exclusive to only each other
(That one kind of bothered Jungkook, but he didn't say anything.)
4. Going on dates, hand holding, cuddling, watching anime together (without also giving each other hand jobs), sharing clothes, forehead kisses, nose kisses, slow dancing, cooking together, sending cute gifs-- all are PROHIBITED.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow at that last one.
"Number four is very particular. Lots of detail there." He whistled. He wanted to look at Taehyung and ask, Who hurt you? Because he was obviously trying very hard not to get hurt again. But who exactly did hurt Taehyung? Jungkook wondered. Looking at this list made Jungkook really pity him.
Taehyung nodded slowly. "We gotta be careful. There are blurry lines between fuck buddies and boyfriends sometimes."
Jungkook's stomach fluttered. Boyfriends.
"Can you not call it 'fuck buddies'? It sounds so vulgar." Jungkook said, trying to hide the pink of his cheeks.
Taehyung thought for a second. "What's a nicer way to say it, then?"
Jungkook shrugged, slowly looking up to meet his hyungs gaze. "Lovers?"
Taehyung considered this. "It works." He said, then nudged the paper back at Jungkook.
"Isn't there anything you want to add? A fifth rule, maybe?" He asked, clicking the pen open and sliding it over at Jungkook.
Yeah, tell me why you can't just let someone care about you.
Jungkook stared down at the paper. What else was there to say?
5. No booty calls when one of the participants are drunk
He slid it back to Taehyung, who frowned. "Hey, that's not fair! I am drunk half of the time! I'm buzzed right now!" he whined.
Jungkook smirked. "Consider it incentive for you to stop drinking as much. At the rate you're going at now; you're kidneys will fail by the time you're fifty."
Taehyung huffed. "Fine. I'll sober up." He said, eyes flicking over to Jungkook. "Only for you though."
Before Jungkook had any time to blush, Taehyung added; "Only for that sweet ass, I mean."
