Three weeks later"Wah, Jimin-shi!" Jungkook said, peeking in through the doorway and admiring his best friend's new place. Jimin had invited him over only a day after he and Bam Bam had moved in, eager for Jungkook to come and gush about how cute it was. And it really was cute.
Jimin looked behind Jungkook as he ushered him inside the apartment.
"No Taehyung?" He pouted, making Jungkook roll his eyes.
"So that's why you wanted me to come over? So you could fanboy over my boyfriend? Nice." He teased, making Jimin turn red. "Taehyung is hanging out with Yoongi today, anyway."
"What? No! Of course not! You know I am glad to just have Jikook time again."
"I told you never to use that." Jungkook mock gagged.
Jimin smiled, taking the box of cookies out of Jungkook's hand. "Is this a house warming gift?"
Jungkook smiled and shrugged. "Yeah, I know they're your favourite."
Jimin smiled fondly down at the box. He sighed. "I can't believe you bought me cookies even though you could have afforded to get me a new car or even a reno of the bathroom."
Jungkook snatched the cookies back. "Fine then! Be ungrateful!"
Jimin quickly grabbed the box back and stuffed them into the cabinet.
"No, no. I'll keep them. . ."
"Oh, hey!" Bam Bam said as he walked into the living room, a towel around his waist as he dried the back of his head with another towel, glittering and glowing like a model.
"Hey," Jungkook nodded awkwardly, turning to Jimin with his mouth shaped in an O. Jimin blushed and turned to scold his boyfriend.
"Go put some clothes on!" Jimin hissed, running over and swatting his boyfriend, making Bam Bam laugh. The height difference between the two of them was actually comical.
Jungkook settled onto the couch and admired the rest of the room as Jimin pulled some beer out of the fridge. The place was very open, with little potted and hanging plants everywhere. A giant window made up most of the biggest wall in the living room, and it had a gorgeous view of Seoul. Everything was clean and bright, like something out of a Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
"Are you going to manage to keep it this clean?" Jungkook asked as Jimin sat across from him and handed him a beer.
Jimin smiled and took a swig. "Bam Bam will. Guy's a neat freak." He said, lovingly.
"I'm really happy you're happy." Jungkook said, cracking open his own beer and taking a sip. It reminded him of college days.
Jimin nodded and pointed at Jungkook, his mouth full of beer. "Says you." He said, swallowing. "You and Taehyung have been officially dating for nearly a month. Every time you and I hang out now, you're practically glowing whenever you see your phone buzz with a text from him."
Jungkook smiled. It was true. He was deliriously happy. He and Taehyung have been spending every day together, working, going back to Taehyung's place, taking the dogs for walks in the park, cooking together, judging bad acting in TV shows together, kissing whenever they want . . . Jungkook had never actually been so content to just be alive before. Everything was going so well.
"He makes me very happy." Jungkook said, making Jimin swoon.
Something odd feeling, like a mix between sand paper and skin, brushed up against Jungkook's leg, and when he looked down to see what it was, he let out a terrified scream.
