Taehyung woke up slowly, instinctively reaching out to Jungkook's side of the bed and feeling for him. He groaned sadly to find that Jungkook was gone, probably already having taken Bam on a run and showered. It had been three days since they had become boyfriends, and they'd barely left the house once, staying in and cooking together or watching Ghilbli films on the sofa (or making love in the shower).
Taehyung had gotten used to Jungkook's soft breathing next to him every morning, and the wonderful luxury of not having to get out of bed at all if he didn't want to. He groaned and sat up. Today was the end of that, as they both actually had to work. Taehyung had nearly forgotten Cora existed.
I never thought that could happen. Cora used to be his whole life, and now he couldn't be bothered to even pick up the phone and say he won't be in the office today. He'd much rather stay at home and snuggle his Jungkook bunny all day.
Yeontan, who'd returned the day before, was playing with Bam on the couch when Taehyung wondered out into the living room, yawning and stretching his arms above his head. The house smelled like coffee and Cinnabon's. Taehyung checked his phone.

Yoongi: U still cuddling ur baby-boo?

Taehyung smiled.

Taehyung: Of course. Tell Dr. Jung I say hi :)

"Taehyung-shi ! Is that you? Are you awake?" Jungkook called from the kitchen.
Taehyung laughed. "No, it's someone else." He joked. "Who else could it be, babe?"
Jungkook wandered out of the kitchen, pouting. "Don't be rude to me, I just made you breakfast."
Taehyung wandered over to him, an eyebrow raised, and wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him close. "By breakfast do you mean instant cinnamon buns?"
Jungkook nodded proudly. "Yes."

Taehyung smiled and gave JK a quick peck on the lips. "You're so cute, Kook."

Jungkook scrunched his nose and smiled. "No you."

"No you!"

"No you!"

Bam barked, startling them both, and Taehyung turned to see both the dogs looking at him and Jungkook, disgusted.

"I think Bam is jealous," Jungkook observed, patting the doberman on the head as he walked over to the record player that was on the counter by the window, and dropped the needle down on the last LP that Taehyung had put on.

"Stand By Me" by Ben E. King started playing, and Jungkook turned the volume dial up before turning around to face Taehyung, his arms extended.

"Dance with me." He said, and Taehyung didn't hesitate a second, stepping forward into Jungkook's arms and wrapping his own around the boy's neck, hugging him close. Jungkook pulled Taehyung in by the waist, and they swayed together to the music, their hearts seeming to beat as one.

"If the sky should crumble and fall, I won't be afraid, no I won't shed a tear. . . just as long as you stand, stand by me. . ."

They slowly danced their way into the living room, where they kicked any intruding furniture out of the way, expanding their dance floor. Yeontan ran in and jumped on the sofa, resting his head down with a sigh and watched as his parents danced.

Jungkook spun Taehyung around, making him giggle, but he shut his mouth the second that Jungkook dipped him, his warm hand sliding up the back of Taehyung's shirt and touching his bare skin. He sucked in a breath, always desperate for Jungkook's touch. Jungkook trailed his lips along Taehyung's neck up to his ear, his breath tickling Taehyung. Jungkook planted a kiss there, right below his ear, making him shiver. He clung to his boyfriend tightly as he pulled him back up, and picked him up from under the armpits. Taehyung giggled under his breath at the strange feeling of having his feet above the ground, and he stared down in awe at Jungkook for being so strong. Slowly, Jungkook lowered him just enough so they could kiss, Taehyung's fingers twining in Jungkook's hair, Jungkook's warm lips parting against his.
