Your red pickup hummed as you coasted down the long paved road. The tall evergreen trees whizzed past you, your truck window down, letting your nose tingled with the fresh smell of natural pine. You took a deep breath as a large old sign came into view, your favorite national park, Jellystone Park.

Driving past the sign you soon reached the entrance and drove up to the tollbooth seeing a familiar park ranger, Ranger Smith.

As you slowly approached the window you pulled down your red, white, and blue cap over your eyes, trying to hide your face.

"Welcome to Jellystone Park, how may I--," Ranger Smith started until he got a good look at you. "Oh no, not you again!" He slapped his hand on his face in frustration.

"Hello Ranger Smith, lovely day for a picnic," you asked, trying not to sound so nervous. Of all the days to man the entrance it had to be this day.

"Look here Y/N, every time you come here we get complaints that people's picnic baskets get stolen," Ranger Smith started giving me the stink eye.

"I don't know how that has to do with me," you defend.

"I know, we checked your truck multiple times for anything stolen and found nothing. But that doesn't mean something isn't up and I'll get to the bottom of it," he threatened.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I'm just here for a picnic," you said, giving the ranger your membership card.

Ranger Smith just leered at you as he took your card. With a quick look down, he scanned your card before returning it to you. Lifting the gate arm up you slowly drove into the park while Ranger Smith stared you down.

As soon the ranger was out of sight you let out a huge sigh of relief, refocusing your attention at hand, going to your favorite picnic spot.

You drove for about an half hour on the rugged road, the thick woods blocking most of your view until finally arriving at your destination.

It was your favorite picnic spot, a little clearing with the dense wooded forest to your right while a small cliff that overlooks the valley to your left. Beyond the valley was a range of white tip mountains stretching as far as the eye can see. It is a hard to get spot that you have known for years, shown to you by your dad when he took you out camping when you were young.

Turning off your truck and opening your door, you took a deep breath, taking in the rugged wildlife, filling your core with an animalistic joy. After taking in the sights for a minute you strolled to the back of your truck and opened up your cargo bed. Strapped down were two huge coolers. You unlatched them and unloaded the two heavy coolers to the old wooden picnic table.

Wiping your brow of sweat, you sat down on the bench taking in the sights. After several minutes of listening to the birds singing in the trees and the pines rustling in the warm wind you looked at your watch around your wrist. 12:58, almost showtime.

That's when I started to hear the sound of tree branches breaking and heavy steps crushing the dense undergrowth. Eventually, a large lumbering light brown bear waddling on two legs wearing a very short light blue frilly skirt. With a dainty light blue sun umbrella and a daisy flower in her hair the large bear emerged from the forest, showing me her full glory.

This bipedal fat bear, standing a little over six feet tall and weighing over a three-fourth-of- a-ton, was Cindy Bear. The heavy pear shaped bear became excited upon seeing you.
