Souls slowly swirled around the ceiling, their eerie blue glow reflecting off the black stone walls. Velma and I looked in awe at this fantastic find. After going on many adventures together we finally found a Ghost Well.
In the center of this room was a pedestal made of the same materials as the room itself. On this cold stand held the object of interest, The Gem of Mafuza. After reading hundreds of books and searching through many fake maps we found our treasure.
"Jinkies, this - this is amazing," Velma gasped as her rectangle glasses glimmered under the faint glow from above. I remained speechless as I never believed we would find this relic, I was just supporting my girlfriend's endeavors.
Velma took a cautionary step towards the gem before I reached out and grabbed her wrist. "Are you sure it's wise to approach such an object like that?" I asked worriedly.
"Don't worry. We studied everything about this gem, there is no way this thing is dangerous. As long as the gem is intact there is nothing to worry about." She smiled at me before turning back to the pedestal. Slowly I let go of her arm and she took another step.
This was a mistake for in the dark it was hard to see your footing so upon Velma taking that second step she tripped over something and fell forward. In an attempt to grab something to prevent her fall she grabbed hold of the pedestal. It turns out after how many years being locked away had not done good for its stability. As soon as Velma hit the ground, so did the pedestal, along with the gem. The gem came crashing down and the sound of cracking glass echoed off the dark room.
"Oh no," cried Velma as she turned over onto her behind and looked up to the ceiling. Suddenly a loud screeching noise reverberated from the souls as they began to spin around faster.
"Velma!" I called out but it was too late. Like wind the souls plunged downward to Velma and into her screaming mouth. An uncountable amount of souls rushed into her like air filling a vacuum. And just as soon as it started it ended, the room going dark. "Velma?" I called out once again as I waved my hand in the dark trying to grab something.
"I-I'm here," stuttered Velma as I heard the ground sifted ahead of me. I was then grabbed by her hands before pulling me into a hug.
"What happened?"
"The vessel broke. So the souls need a new vessel, and they chose me!"
"We need you to see a doctor, or an exorcist right away!" I exclaimed as I tried to look around for the exit. Then Velma released her hug and pulled me around.
"This was, and I'll be fine. I read up on things like this. I know what to do," she said confidently.
"Are you sure? A million souls went into you!"
"Jinkies, you sound like an old friend of mine. Don't worry, I know what I'm doing."
In my panic I failed to notice the glow from under Velma's glass and smirked the grew on her face.

"Feed me Y/N! I still hunger," roared Velma as her whale of a body giggled like jello.
I hulled the dead body to her before she raised a fat hand, almost covered by the fat from her wrist, and began to glow blue. The body was then lifted up into the air and levitated into her waiting maw. The body began to disintegrate into small pieces and slurped down her throat. With a loud burp she moans in satisfaction.
Ex-ghost hunter now soul eater Velma was a mountain of a woman. The day after we exited the ruins she craved souls, and not just any souls but ones that were fresh, aka, living people. I tried to stop her but she threatened to eat me, but if I helped her she would reward me handsomely. That was two months ago and now I was a mass murder and my possessed girlfriend is now a insatiable cannibal.
"Jinkies, that was good," Velma bellowed as she laid into her fat. "Now phase one is complete, we go to phase two!"
"Phase two?" I asked as I fell onto her fat room size belly.
"Yes, I have acquired enough souls to begin my rise to godhood! Climb onto my chest my little lover and I will ascend!"
Without question I climbed her soft doughy form to her oversized orange sweater that held her couch size breasts and laid in between the two gigantic orbs. Once in position Velma raised her tree trunk thick arms into the air and a blue light began to engulf her entire body. Her multi toned body became as light as a feather as she began to levitate. Suddenly the room around us began to shake as cracks began to form. With a loud kaboom the entire ceiling blew away as her body began to rise. Soon we was thousands of feet into the air, and I was able to see miles around.
For the first couple of minutes nothing seemed to happen as we both just hovered in the air. But soon, from a distance, faint cries can be heard. What first looked like hazy clouds coming from the horizon eventually it was clear to see that they were in fact people flying in the air toward us, or to me more accurately, toward Velma.
With an evil grin and glint on her glasses she opened up her mouth and began to suck. What looked to me like millions upon millions of people all falling into Velma's hungry stomach. With the speed of a rocket her stomach exploded in size. From room size to house size, to apartment building size to skyscraper size. In no time at all her stomach was now island size, stretching thousands of feet in every direction.
Still she floated as her meal came to an end. She was now a monster as she grew to the size of Central Park. With a burp that could cause an earthquake she sighed in relief.
"Jinkies, now that was a meal," she smiled as it was the only thing she could do. "Now phase three!" With a loud boom the sky ripped apart opening. The portal crackled open revealing what looks like a starry multi-colored nebula.
"Finally! The astral plane. Now I can finally become the god I was destined to be!" Velma laughed wickedly. I watched from on top of breasts as she rose into the portal, witnessing the birth of a new era.
