"Merry Christmas Morgan!!!" Both Steve and Natasha shouted engulfing Morgan into a tight hug. Pepper laughed softly at them
"How long did you two spend practicing that."
"Too long," Natasha remarked but she couldn't hide the smile that lit up her face.
"Merry Christmas Pepper," Natasha said wrapping her friend into a hug.
"Natasha Romanoff giving me a hug?" Pepper asked in a mocking tone "What is happening to America." She felt her voice fade away as Tony walked in.
"Daddy!!!!" Morgan screeched jumping into his arms.
"Merry Christmas Maguna." He said grinning from ear to ear clutching onto his daughter tightly.
"Come on Daddy you gotta see all my presents." She tugged Tony away to her bedroom the duo momentarily disappearing.
"How's the morning been?" Natasha asked as the three of them moved into the living room.
"Good, good." Pepper responded, "I'm taking Morgan to London this year."
"You gotta eventually take her to Russia." Natasha prodded grinning "You know I won't stop bothering you about it until you do."
"How has your Christmas morning been?" Pepper asked.
Steve smiled "It's been really good we went to Clint's house to give gifts to his kids, Yelena and Kate flew in for the morning for brunch, and then we came here."
"Who's able to make it this evening for Pepper Potts Annual Christmas party?" Natasha asked.
"Rhodey is coming early to help set up. Bucky and Sam are coming. Thor and Jane are coming with Rai. Wanda and Vision are coming with Billy and Tommy. Hope and Scott are coming with Cassie and the twins. Clint and Laura are coming with the kids. Kate and Yelena are also stopping by and Thor said Loki was coming. I don't think the rest can make it." Natasha nodded and Morgan and Tony reappeared from her bedroom.
"Mommy can I open Auntie Nat and Uncle Steves gifts!" Morgan pleaded.
"What if I said I threw all your gifts away," Natasha said grinning.
"Nooooooo Auntie Nat I want presents." Morgan fake pleaded, putting on her puppy face.
"Well, I think there might be a few for you in Uncle Steve's car."
"Yay!!!" Morgan cheered as Steve brought a few bags of gifts. Morgan quickly opened up all the gifts. "You got me a hoverboard!!!!" Morgan screeched squeezing Natasha and Steve "You're my favorite people in the whole world."
"Wow, I feel hurt," Tony said jokingly making Pepper let out a chuckle.
"Daddy, did you get me any gifts?" Morgan questioned, quickly forgetting about her hoverboard.
"I certainly did Maguna." He said passing her a bag. Inside were a pair of sneakers that were customized with her name, a build your own robot lego kit, and a camera.
"Thank you, Daddy!" Morgan smiled running off to play with her own toys.
"Thank you, Tony." Pepper said genuinely "It means a lot to her for you to be here."
"Of course." He responded, "I'm trying my best Pep."
She nodded smiling "I know and you're doing really good." Natasha and Steve slowly left letting the two have their moment.
"If you're okay with it I'd like to be around Morgan more." He spoke. She nodded taking his words in
"I'm alright with you visiting more if that's what you want."
He nodded smiling "Thank you Pep." He pulled her in for an unexpected hug. She stiffened before relaxing into it. Why did this feel right? It should have felt so wrong. She knew she shouldn't have been letting him back into her life so easily. But something about Tony Stark was so intoxicating. She knew she had to set her priorities straight. But that didn't hide the fact that she had missed him.
