We're Going to London!

As Summer finally came and Morgan's school year ended, Pepper and Morgan's annual trip approached. They'd been doing it ever since Morgan was a baby, with Tony constantly traveling for work they wanted a trip of their own to look forward to. The trip was always so much fun, but the packing was not so much. Being the Mother of an elementary schooler meant she was packing for both of them. So while Tony had taken Morgan out to the Barton's to play with Nate, Pepper and Natasha were busy packing. With planning the wedding and work Natasha was swamped and needed something to escape to, even if it meant packing Morgan's bag.

"Thanks for helping Nat," Pepper said "I don't know what I'd do without you."

"No problem." Natasha said with a forced smile, Pepper able to see the tiredness behind it.

"Are you doing alright honey?" Pepper asked worriedly as Natasha wobbeld noticeably.

"I'm fine." Natasha said, brushing it off. "You don't seem fine." Pepper said with a knowing look.

"It's just," Natasha said trailing off, "my parents can't come to the wedding."

"What!" Pepper exclaimed. Natasha and Yelena's parents hadn't been very active in their lives but still loved them very much, while they lived in Russia they visited at least once a year, usually around one of their birthdays.

"They said traveling was too much after being here for so long when Yelena was arrested," Natasha said with a sad smile "it's fine I don't really care."

"I'm sorry Nat," Pepper said sympathetically "we'll have so much fun without them alright?" Natasha nodded wordlessly, busying herself with packing.

"I think I'm going to head out," Natasha said once they'd finished "I promised Lila I'd go over for dinner tonight."

"Have fun sweetie," Pepper said, pulling her into a hug before she left "give Laura a hug for me." Not long after that Tony and Morgan returned, Morgan practically bouncing off the walls. "What did you give our child?" Pepper asked with a laugh.

"Sugar," Tony said with a tired sigh "she and Nate had more sugar in a few hours than I've had in my life."

"This will be a fun plane ride." Pepper said sarcastically.

"Sorry Pep," Tony said with a smile, pulling her into his arms "will you forgive me?"

"Maybe if you kiss me." Pepper said with a smirk, giggling as he pressed his lips against hers.

"That's disgusting." Morgan said from down the hallway, her nose wrinkled.

"Kisses are disgusting?" Tony asked with a dramatic gasp "well then I guess I'll just have to kiss you all over."

"Daddy!" Morgan squealed as Tony pressed kisses on her face. Pepper watched them fondly, so much had changed since this time last year.

"Come on Morgan," Pepper said "we're going to miss our flight if we don't leave soon."

"Please," Tony said with a scoff, "Pepper Potts has never missed a flight in her life."

"There's a first for everything." Pepper said with an eye roll.

"Can we get Burger King first?" Morgan asked pleadingly.

"Fine," Pepper agreed. "Let's get in the car." Tony had offered to drive them, stopping once for burgers and once for ice cream, leaving Morgan completely crashed, all that sugar finally catching up to her. "Hopefully she can stay like this for the plane." Pepper said with a laugh as Morgan snored away in the back seat.

"I wouldn't count on that," Tony said with a laugh "do you remember that flight to Milan?"

"Oh my god," Pepper gasped, "she screamed the entire flight."

"I was pretty sure Rhodey was going to kill us." Tony said with a laugh. When they finally reached the airport Morgan was wide awake, eager to go to London.

"We're going to London Mommy!" Morgan shouted "Let's go!"

"Say goodbye to Daddy first." Pepper said as Tony grabbed their suitcases out of the back.

"Bye Daddy!" Morgan said, giving him a quick hug.

"Bye Maguna," Tony said, hugging her tight "I love you 3000."

"I love you 3000." Morgan repeated with a grin. Since Morgan was little the two had always had a tradition of saying that to each other, they did it each night before bed and every time one of them was leaving.

"You gonna miss me Potts?" Tony asked with a smirk, pulling her into his arms.

"I don't know," Pepper said teasingly, "You can be pretty annoying." Tony didn't respond, only pulling her into a kiss, before wrapping her into a hug.

"Come on Mommy!" Morgan shouted excitedly "We're going to London!"

"Coming baby," Pepper said with a smile "Bye Tony I love you."

"I love you more Pep," Tony said with a smile "have fun." With that the Mother and daughter left, Morgan practically running through the airport.

"We're going to London Mommy!" Morgan said, once they'd taken off "are you excited?"

"I'm so excited baby," Pepper said with a smile "what's better than going on vacation with my favorite person."

"I'm your favorite person?" Morgan asked with a gasp "what about Daddy?"

"Daddy's pretty special," Pepper said "but you are my daughter and you will always be my favorite person."

"You're my favorite person too Mommy," Morgan said with a grin "Daddy and Auntie Nat are tied for second."

"How do you think Daddy would feel hearing you like him the same as Auntie Nat?"

"Auntie Nat is the best," Morgan said with a scoff "Daddy will just have to accept that."

"I guess he will," Pepper said with a smile "I love you Momo."

"I love you too Mommy," Morgan said with a smile "we're going to London!" That they were, and Pepper couldn't help but feel the same excitement as Morgan once they began to fly. They were going to London.
