When we arrived at the hospital dali dali kaming bumaba ni Macoy. He is so fast kaya I need to keep up. I have no idea what happened, ang alam ko lang is na hospital si Michael

I stopped running when when I saw the nurse stopping Tita Emma from coming in the emergency room as Macoy and Tito Miles is holding her, Emily is just watching and crying in the corner. Dali dali akong pumunta sakanilang pwesto. Emily looked at me kaya yinakap ko siya which she hugged me back

"Shhh. It's going to be okay"

"Miles, yung bunso ko! Papasukin niyo na ako parang awa niyo na!" Tita Emma screamed in frustration kaya sinubsob ni Emily ang kanyang mukha saakin

I looked at Macoy who is calming her mother. When our met eyes he looks so tired and defeated pero nakuha niya pa akong nginitian. Kumalma na din si Tita Emma when the doctor arrived saying that they moved Michael to a private room and he's stable, for now

I felt goosebumps all over my body when the doctor said that. Humiwalay na saakin si Emily at sumunod sakanyang mga magulang. Nakita kong hindi gumagalaw si Macoy kaya linapitan ko siya and cling my arms to him

"You can do this, halika sasamahan kita" we walk so slowly, he looks so scared and nervous. When we arrived at Michael's room napatigil siya sa paglalakad at hinarap ako

"Hindi ko kaya Navreen.. natatakot ako" he sighed as he put his hand on his mouth. His eye are on the urge to cry pero pinipigilan niya ito. I held his hand and squeezed it kaya tinanguan niya ako at siya na mismo ang nagbukas ng pintuan

Napaawang ang bibig ko when I saw Michael lying on the bed and asleep. Napatakip ako sa bibig to silence my cry. I can't remember the last time I saw Michael pero hindi siya ganito. He lost a lot of hair already and he looks thinner and paler than ever

Tito Miles is praying at the corner while Tita Emma is just staring at her son. Ang daming nakasaksak sa katawan niya. It hurts me looking at him like that pero wala akong magawa

"Nagpapahinga lang siya, nagpapahinga lang" I heard Tita Emma said in a whisper tone

Umiwas ng tingin si Emily sakanyang nanay at pinigilan ang pag iyak. I look at Macoy who is silently crying while looking at Michael. He removes his beanie at sinuot iyon kay Michael, he is gently putting it on with shaky hands. It pains me so much

"Pag galing ka boi. Tuturuan pa kita mag basketball"

Nakita kong tinatawagan na ako ni Mommy pero I just ignore it. Macoy needs me right now, his family is a mess right now. They need the support they need and I'm willing to give my all

"Manuel, uuwi muna ako at kukuha nang gamit. Bantayan mo Mama mo, Emily anak halika muna" tumango naman si Macoy at tiningnan ako

"Umuwi ka na muna babe, pahinga ka. May pasok pa bukas at baka makalimutan mo pang mag aral" he said pero umiling ako

"I am not gonna leave you here" hinawakan niya naman ang kamay ko and give me a re-assuring smile

"Pwede ka naman bumalik bukas, ngayon umuwi ka na muna. Okay lang ako"

I know Macoy and he will never let this go kaya tumango ako. Tumayo na ako and kiss him on the cheeks. Napatingin naman ako kay Tita Emma na nakatulala lang kay Michael. Lumabas na ako at mabuti na lang naabutan ko pa sila Tito Miles and Emily. Pinasabay ko na sila sa kotse ni Manong Elias, I dropped them off na sa bahay nila

Mabuti na lang talaga at tulog na ang lahat ng tao sa bahay when I got home. Bukas na lang ako pagalitan ni Mommy, I am so tired. Naligo na muna ako at nag skin care before I went to sleep
