Summer have past by too soon. Unfortunately. I'm ecstatic for Hogwarts but sometimes every year I'd wish summer come back. My alarm clock on my phone buzzed repeatedly. I slightly jumped, rubbing my face. It was 7:00am. I turned off the alarm and rolled out of bed. Time for school! A lot of adrenaline rushed through me as I went to the bathroom. Kyle walked groggily out of his room while yawning. I did my morning routine and showered. My school outfit laid on my sofa chair once I came in my room. "Kyle Joseph Rogers! Stay still! I'm trying to fix your shirt!" I heard Dad from next door. "No daddy!" Kyle whined a little loud. I chuckled and got dressed into this:

I opened my second suitcase and pulled out my makeup kit. It's not grown up makeup though. I put on Justice lipgloss, white-sparkly earrings and my zebra-striped bracelet. Mom laid beside the doorframe. She playfully knocked. "Sweetie, aren't you forgetting something?" She asked. I nodded confusingly. "Like what?" I asked. She used her wand and all hair materials flew inside for my hair. "What time is it?" I asked anxiously. Mom giggled. "Relax baby. It's still 7ish." She told me. I inhaled a deep breath. I'm finally going to Hogwarts and I'll need to make a good impression on my first day. She brushed and curl-ironed my hair as I watched Nickelodeon on the TV. After a good two minutes, she put down the comb and curling iron. "All done!" She squealed. I smiled widely, playfully touching the strands. It was a nice ponytail with two curly strands out. Just absolute perfect! Mom got lit skills. "Alex! We need a little help!" Dad yelled across the house. "Dad, I'm not going!" Kyle growled angrily. Mom sighed. "Duty calls." She mumbled. I laughed. She walked out, leaving me by myself. I turned off the TV and put my kit back in the suitcase. Mom came in and magicked my suitcases to get off my bed themselves. "Cmon, Sky! Let's go hon." She said. We left the room while they rolled themselves behind. Kyle was dressed for regular school. Once he turn 11, he'll go to Hogwarts for his first year. He frowned. "I hate muggle school." He mumbled. I rubbed his hair. "Don't worry bro, you'll be going to Hogwarts with me soon." I said. He smiled and nodded. Dad patted his shoulder. "Next year son. Next year." He assured. Kyle wrapped his backpack around himself as Dad grabbed my suitcases. We went under our fireplace and Mom inhaled a deep breath. "King Cross Station." She simply said. The yellow flames floo'ed us up the chimney and felt ourselves appear through the brick walls. Dad suddenly coughed a little smoke. Kyle covered his mouth to giggle. I chuckled. Mom rolled her eyes. "Babe, you gotta get used to that." She said. I almost spoke until another Harry's family apparated here. He saw me and smiled happily. I returned the gesture. "Hey!" I beamed. His eyes widened toward my outfit. I giggled, caressing my strands. "What?" I asked. He coughed nervously. "Um...you look...nice." He said shyly. My cheeks burned red. I laughed. "Thanks." I said. Harry raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Wanna race through the platform 9 3/4?" He asked. I clutched the handles of both my suitcases tightly. "Oh, it's on Potter." I said confidently. Lily cleared her throat. "Kids, we're not gonna- she was cut off when we raced our luggage through the platform 9 3/4. Our parents followed behind with Kyle. Instantly, we were met by a huge amount of families and children. I sighed happily. "We're finally here! We're here!" I cheered. Harry chuckled. "Yup." He said. Lily looked at us in awe. "Aww, you two are growing up so much!" She said. We said our goodbyes to our families when kids were getting inside the Hogwarts Express. Me and Harry picked up our things and owls before walking inside. Every compartment was practically filled of kids it was almost impossible. Some kids noticed my look and outfit which was odd. I can't help if I love being fashionable. "Here's one!" He said, referring to an empty compartment three blocks away. We carefully walked through and placed our suitcases on top with other kids's. I petted the cage of where Bambi laid relaxed before sitting next to Harry. I breathed a breath of relief and fixed my little messy curls. "Phew! Thank god!" I whispered. He laughed. "We just got in!" He said. I groaned and opened my favorite American Girl book. "That's weird." He said. I looked at him confusedly. "What?" I asked. "You're reading. You don't exactly read much." He told me. I smiled innocently and put my hand on my heart. "Harry, I thought you knew me better." I joked in a high-pitched voice. We laughed more. Our compartment door slid opened, revealing a boy our age with bright red hair. He cleared his throat. "Excuse me? Mind if I sit here? There's too many full compartments." He said. I scoffed. "Yeah go ahead." We said in unison. He smiled and sat across from us. "I'm Ron. Ron Weasley." He introduced himself. I smiled sweetly. "Skylar. Skylar Rogers." I said. His eyes widened. We shared confusion. "Blimey! You're the girl who's father is an Avenger!" He said shockingly. Unusually if people know my full name, they'll know I'm an Avenger kid. Not everyone because my identity needs to be anonymous for safety. "You can call me Ron. Who are you?" He asked, referring to Harry. "Harry. Harry Potter." He told him. Ron hummed in response. "It makes sense. You kinda dress like an..." He trailed off. I laughed and crossed my legs. "American I know." I said. Harry smirked knowingly. "She's the best American girl I know." He teased. My cheeks burned hard. Ron continued to ask more questions about me and Harry. I was starting to get hungry so Ron asked for literally a bucket of candy from Honeydukes. So freaking delicious! I sighed happily. "I'm in love with these pasties! Remember we ate them on my sixth birthday?" I asked. Harry scoffed, chuckling. "How could I forget? Half your face was stuffed and your Dad went mad." He said. Ron chuckled. I playfully rolled my eyes. Can't blame a girl for loving food. I slightly lost attention when it focused on another kid from a different compartment. I finished my second pastie before going back to reading. "Hello? Is this side taken?" A girl's voice asked. I looked up to see the same kid. She had brownish bushy hair. I nodded my head no. "It's alright." I said. She nodded, sitting next to Ron. Harry smiled. "I'm Harry Potter." He introduced. I turned to another page and smiled. "Skylar Rogers." I said. "Nice to meet you both. I'm Hermione Granger." She introduced. Her eyes diverted to Ron still chewing candy. Hermione raised an eyebrow weirdly. "You are?" She asked. I hid a chuckle. "Ron Weasley." He answered. "I see." She mumbled disgustedly. Me and Harry shared a light chuckle. "Where are you from Skylar?" She asked. I smiled. "Brooklyn New York. My family moved to Upstate New York." I said. "Her father is an Avenger!" Ron beamed. Hermione's jaw dropped. "Impossible. If your Dad is an Avenger, then you must be Alex Scamander's daughter. Right?" She said. I nodded and slightly ripped the page accidentally. Damn it! "Ugh!" I growled. "What's wrong?" She asked concernedly. "I ripped my book page." I told her. Hermione pulled out her wand and pointed at the torn paper. "Oculus reparo." She said. It disappeared back into the way it was. I smiled. "Thanks!" I said.

Throughout the long ride, we all got to know each other. Hermione and Ron kept annoying each other though. Nighttime struck. The train pulled up where a tall giant man stood holding a flashlight house. Wait! My brain clicked. Hagrid! I excitingly put on my dress robes and held Harry's hand. His cheeks burned red. "What is it Sky?" He asked. I pointed out the window. "Look! It's Hagrid!" I whispered in his ear. We've met Hagrid when we were younger. He's also a teacher and gamekeeper at Hogwarts. He saw and smiled widely. Everybody exited the train one by one. Our suitcases would be magicked into our rooms once we get sorted into our houses. I got out before Harry and hugged Hagrid. "Hey Hagrid!" I said, smiling. We parted. He gasped. "Skylar! It's been so long little one! You and Harry got bigger! You were a lot smaller than I remembered. Now, let's begin for your classes eh?" He said. I nodded as he had form a few groups to ride us Hogwarts underneath the ocean. Me, Ron, Harry and a few boys rode one boat with a tall lit lantern on the end. My eyes widened. Wow! Mom always told me the castle is huge like all the Disney princesses'. She isn't wrong. It felt like I fell asleep into the fairytale but which princess? I don't care. We magically rode and watched the wondrous sights of the school. Hagrid cautiously made sure we landed safely on ground. I hugged Harry from behind. "This is amazing." I whispered in awe. He hugged back with his arms. "I know." He whispered. We parted as we got off the boat carefully. Hagrid checked to see if there's enough kids and led us inside. I cheered excitingly. "Here we go!" I squealed. Harry chuckled.
