*****Three hours later*****

Dumbledore stopped the curse on Brianna and I didn't care if he needed to spell her. At least he saved her nonetheless. The Professors cancelled all classes and sent everyone to the common rooms. McGonagall contacted my parents and allowed me to come to the hospital wing. Those 5th years she attacked wasn't badly hurt. Harry joined to come see if she's alright. I sat in an armchair beside Brianna's bed. She was peacefully asleep due to Madam Pomfrey giving her medicine. It's almost like nothing went wrong earlier. Harry was standing beside me. He sighed sadly. "It's all my fault." He blurted. I looked at him confusedly. "What?" I asked. He huffed. "It's my fault Sky. If we- I cut him off. "Harry! We all messed up. You, me, Ron and Hermione. We thought it be best if we travel through the Forest again for fun. Especially during the scary time of this year. Look at Brianna! She's not badly injured nor terribly sick. She was only possessed by the necklace. All that matters is Dumbledore saved her and hopefully he got rid of the necklace." I said. Harry smiled a little. "Hopefully. I've already had enough scare pranks from you to last a lifetime." He joked. I laughed, punching his arm. He laughed and shrugged. "I'm being honest!" He giggled. Brianna immediately bursted awake while looking around confusedly. It made us jump slightly. I rubbed my hair in disbelief. "Insanely poisoned, cursed by treasure and you're still able to move an inch?!" I asked. She rolled her eyes. "If you two weren't so wonderland curious, I wouldn't be here." She sassed. Harry breathed a breath of relief. "Are you alright?" He asked. Brianna quickly nodded. "This did nothing but knock me out. I really don't remember much other than having this very insane headache. Then it all went downhill." She explained. I almost spoke till Madam Pomfrey arrived with a wet cloth and her wand. She sighed. "A relief you're awake Brianna! Don't move. I'll be checking your vitals. Here you go." She said, placing a wet cloth on her forehead. Harry nudged me as we saw Professor McGonagall at the entry. "Mr. Potter, Ms. Rogers, you two better come with me." She said firmly. All the blood in my face nearly went pale. I got up and followed behind him. Brianna smiled nervously.

At McGonagall's office, we were surprised to see Ron and Hermione standing in front of her desk. I'm guessing they confessed. All four of us were beside each other as she sat comfortably and the aroma of freshly hot tea warmed the silence. "Now, seems to me the four of you have visited one of the restricted areas of Hogwarts. The Forbidden Forest. It is highly unacceptable and could've earned you two months of detention. But, since you've proudly admitted your selfishness, you'll not be getting a month detention." She said firmly. The nervous weight was thrown off my shoulders. I mentally breathed a breath of relief. Harry smiled slightly at me. "Only fifty points will be taken from your house." She continued. Our jaws dropped shockingly. Fifty points?! That would make our score a bit lower. "Fifty?!" Harry asked in disbelief. "Each." She finished. I groaned. "Each?! Now my parents really gonna kill me!" I whined. Hermione huffed. McGonagall sighed. "But you'll have at least nine points left for handling the situation responsibly and your housemates are perfectly safe." She added. Nine points? Thank god. Me and Hermione breathed a breath of relief. Ron smiled a little. She cleared her throat. "You all should return to your dormitories. Miss Brianna is feeling well and Ms. Rogers and Mr. Potter, your mothers promised they'll send you letters today. I suggest you receive them." She said. Two words: Oh. No. I could've sworn I gulped a bit. Harry breathed nervously. Once her office door closed, I facepalmed my forehead. "We're so dead." I whined. "No kidding." Harry agreed.

In our room, I flunked myself on my bed and sighed. "Worst. Scary fun. Ever." I blurted. Brianna had to stay overnight to rest. Hermione closed her book. "No offense Skylar but going to the Forest was horrible. I'm glad we knew information about the treasure before anything else happened." She told me. I inhaled a deep breath. She does have a point. At first we had no clue about those sickening apples till Brianna got sick. Not to mention she turned into a crazed maniac by touching the Griffonstone treasure. "I agree. This had gone too far. Maybe it was insane to go there two times." I admitted. She fake gasped. "Blimey! Skylar admitted she was wrong!" She said sarcastically. I playfully rolled my eyes. "Don't get used to it." I quickly said. She giggled. "Let's be thankful and have a less-dangerous Halloween." I told her. Hermione nodded in agreement. An orange-colored envelope flew through the window and directly to my face. It unraveled itself, revealing a male face. My eyes widened. Howler. "SKYLAR ROGERS! YOU WENT TO A DANGEROUS FOREST?! NOT TO MENTION YOUR LITTLE SISTER GOT HURT TWO TIMES! YOUNG LADY, YOU'RE GROUNDED ON HALLOWEEN. NO COSTUMES! NO CANDY! NO SCARE PRANKS!" It growled angrily. My jaw dropped instantly. The face tore itself into a million pieces. I covered my face in disbelief. "Ugh! Just great!" I complained. Hermione sighed. "So much for legendary." She mumbled.
