"Cmon, Ron! What are three crucial ingredients in a Pepperup potion?" Hermione asked for the hundredth time. He huffed, rubbing his temple. "Uh...uh...." He trailed off. Brianna facepalmed her forehead irritatingly. "Bloody hell." She whispered. We were back in the common room. Still studying for the final exams. It's practically 8:30pm. Hermione figured we'd go over everything before we go to bed. Everything. Harry, Brianna and I sat on the floor with our quills, parchments and textbooks splattered while she sat on the table with Ron. He inhaled a deep breath and counted off his fingers. "Bicorn horn, mandrake root...." He trailed off. "And?" She asked, the anxiousness in her voice. Harry groaned quietly. "Sky." He reminded. He was struggling a bit with Charms and Potions. At first it was mainly Potions but he missed Charms class last time due to Quidditch practice. I sighed. "Which question?" I asked. He pointed to a question on his parchment. "What's the softening charm? And the unlocking charm?" He read. I fake pouted. "That's two questions." I whined. He smirked teasingly. Brianna casually tipped her quill on her parchment while reading Transfiguration. I straightened upwards from leaning against the couch. "Fine. Very easy. It's what Hermione said cause Brianna's tie got stuck through the bathroom door. She pointed at the lock." I told him. She sighed annoyedly but paid attention to the book. Harry began thinking for a minute. "Aloho...aloho...alohomora!" He said. "Jewelweed!" Ron blurted. Me and Hermione smiled brightly. "Yes!" We said in unison. He playfully cheered and written the answer. I chuckled. "Great job! Any more?" I asked. "Repairing charm." He quickly said. That made me smile. "Spell to repair things like your glasses. The word sounds similar to 'repair'." I said. His face instantly lit up. "Reparo! Thanks Sky!" He beamed, smiling. My cheeks madly heated. All he asked was already written on my notes. It made me rather happy to see him understand these on his own. A hassle it was when he struggled. He looked up from his parchment and smiled teasingly. "Aren't you gonna ask me another question?" He asked. I returned the gesture. "What'd you got?" I teased. "Transfiguration." He told me. I hummed in response and read the first question I answered. Aha! "What is a switching spell?" I asked. He huffed while fiddling with his quill. "Ok. It's about switching things like...um....switching positions with two objects?" He guessed. I cheered happily and playfully danced. "Correct!" I beamed. He laughed yet written his answer. "Why don't I quiz you?" He asked. I smiled confidently. "Bring it." I said. Brianna low-key chuckled. "Uh oh." She muttered. Harry skimmed over his notes and looked up. "What is a match-needle spell?" He asked. I scoffed and chuckled. "Too simple! A spell used to turn matches into needles." I told him. His eyes widened. Brianna laughed as we high five. Hermione huffed. "Guys! Shh! Ron's still thinking!" She whispered/yelled. His eyes were closed as if he was concentrating. "I don't even know how you knew just like that." Harry said in shock. I playfully rolled my eyes and smiled. "Which is the point of studying." I said. He rolled his eyes and chuckled. "Yeah yeah." He said. Brianna sighed happily. "Can't believe I'm saying this but I have a great feeling about the exams." She admitted. Surprisingly, I was beginning to feel the same. It could've been highly stressful even for Harry and Ron but this makes me more confident. Ron smiled a little. "Same." He agreed. "Us too." The rest of us said in unison. I smirked. "Know what I'm excited about?" I asked. "What?" Harry asked. We smiled happily. "Christmas break!" We cheered. Hermione chuckled. "I'm feeling amazing about these exams! We know everything from the tip of a wand! Say, let's have a review of each subject." She said. We looked at each other then back at her. "What?" We asked confusedly. She sighed. "Go over ten questions on each subject." She corrected. I nodded in understanding. "Try Charms first." Brianna added. She nodded and flipped through her notes.

After going through all class questions, it was literally 9pm. Ron yawned tiredly. We were practically exhausted. Brianna's eyes nearly closed. I yawned while stretching. Harry took off his glasses and wiped the sleep out of his eyes. Hermione got off the armchair and stretched. "Let's go to bed. Clearly." She said. We immediately gathered our things before rushing to our dormitories. Sleep's really essential when it came to studying. I changed into my PJs and wrapped my hair in a bun. My phone buzzed on the nightstand. "Who's that?" Hermione asked. "My mom." I quickly said. I picked it up and Mom sent a photo of herself holding two boxes of Christmas cookie batter along with a text.

Mom♥️✨: Can't wait to see u😊❤️

I smiled warmly and texted back.

Sky🤪😎: don't make any cookies without me!😉😋😋😋

I put it back beside my wand and got under the covers. Hermione inhaled a deep breath. "Phew! Never thought I do this much studying." She whispered. I was slightly confused over why she was whispering till Brianna's soft snores were heard. I rolled my eyes but smiled. "Yup. It was surprisingly worth it. I don't feel a bit nervous now." I whispered. She smiled confidently. "We'll ace those exams!" She whispered/yelled. I chuckled and nodded. "We'll sure do." I agreed. Brianna's snoring got a little loud. Her snores are literally an old man's. I grabbed a pillow and threw it at her face. She jumped yet fell off the bed. Our jaws dropped as we bursted into quiet laughter. "Yes! Yes!" I whispered while chuckling. Hermione giggled uncontrollably. About time I threw that pillow.
