It was 3:40 now. Flying class was starting and everyone lined up in front of the school brooms on the ground left and right. Same was mine while I stood between Harry and Hermione. Madam Hooch walked through the middle of the two lines. "Good afternoon class. Welcome to your first flying lesson. What are we waiting for? Everyone step up to the left side of their broomstick, come. Stick your right hand over the broom and say 'up!'." She commanded. Alright, Sky. Focus. Focus carefully. I sighed as my hand was put over my broom. "Up!" I said firmly. It quickly flew up to my hand. "Up!" Harry quickly said, making his broom fly to his hand in a second. Hermione looked at us shockingly. The whole class kept repeating the word to make their brooms fly until they all succeeded. Ron carefully stuck his hand over the broom and commanded it. It flew upwards, hitting his nose. He yelped and covered his nose in slight pain. We bursted into laughter. I giggled. Ron pouted. "Shut up guys." He growled. Hermione rolled her eyes. Madam Hooch began demonstrating how to ride the broom. Brianna winked sweetly at Draco. He raised an eyebrow and sighed. This makes me rather barf up my lunch. We placed the brooms between our legs and before we could fly, Neville's broom was flying off into the sky. Our jaws dropped. He panicked as he flew in crazy circles and basically flew toward everybody. I gasped. "LOOK OUT!" I screamed. Everybody got out the way as he rode mid-air through the pitch. It finally stopped once the broom dropped him completely to the ground. I slightly cringed. That must've hurt like a dynamite. Harry cringed painfully. "Is he ok?" He whispered. I shrugged. Madam Hooch went to check on him and carefully held his injured hand. Brianna suddenly looked down. "What's this?" She asked. I was confused until she picked up a magicked ball. Seamus sighed. "Neville's Remembrall." He muttered. Madam Hooch escorted him to the hospital wing and told everyone to stay here until she gets back = no flying on the brooms. Draco took the ball from Brianna. He smirked. "Did you see his face? Maybe if the fat lump gave this a squeeze, he would have remembered to fall on his fat ass." He joked. Slytherin kids laughed. Harry walked up to him from behind. "Give it here Malfoy." He demanded. He hummed in response. "Let me think? No. I think I'll leave it somewhere for Longbottom to find. Like the roof!" He said, flying upward and around. I face-palmed my forehead. "Don't tell me you're gonna do what I think you'll do." I begged. Harry nodded. "No promises." He said as he readied himself. Hermione sighed. "Harry, no way! You heard what Madam Hooch said. Besides you don't even know how to fly!" She said.
He ignored her warning and flew after Draco. I sighed. "Boys are idiots." I muttered. She nodded in agreement. Harry chased Draco on his broom into the sky. He threw Neville's ball carelessly. It was heading for a nearby window. They'd be expelled if it breaks. What should I do? I mentally panicked and inhaled a deep breath. "HARRY! THE BALL!" I screamed. His eyes widened and he zoomed across the pitch and caught the ball near the window. I breathed a breath of relief. He smiled, flying carefully across the pitch and onto the ground. The whole Gryffindor first years cheered, running up to him. Harry laughed. My cheeks burned red. I smiled softly. "Not bad for the first time." I said, referring to his flying. He returned the gesture. "Ahem!" A stern-familiar voice called. We turned to see Professor McGonagall. She sighed. "Mr. Potter. You should come with me." She said firmly. Awkward silence fulfilled the air. I knew this would happen. Harry should've never let Draco bother him. He huffed before following her back inside the castle. Draco and his friends smirked meanly. Brianna shrugged. "At least he nailed his flying lesson." She said. Ron rolled his eyes. Sometimes I wish McGonagall took Brianna to detention.

Flying class was indeed over. I was in my dorm room and watching Seven Super Girls on my tablet. Harry didn't come back from probably getting detention from McGonagall. Draco's a spoiled prick. If he would've gave Neville's ball back, Harry wouldn't had to broom race him. Hermione was going over homework on the desk while Brianna's taking an early nap. No wonder she has a sour attitude. Suddenly, our door busted open and startled us. Brianna screamed and fell off the bed. Hermione dropped her quill, spilling ink across the desk. Harry smiled widely. "Sky! Sky!" He called. I looked at him in shock. "Harry? What happened? Didn't you get detention?" I asked frantically. He nodded his head no and pulled me out of the room. "KNOCK NEXT TIME!" Brianna growled/yelled. He rolled his eyes while pulling me downstairs to the common room. Some fourth years or sixth years was hanging by the fire. I crossed my arms. "Mind telling me why you pulled me from YouTubing?" I asked. He smiled happily. "I'm a seeker Sky! McGonagall was kinda impressed by how I caught Neville's ball and Oliver the Quidditch captain made me seeker. He was giving me lessons for the past two hours." He told me. Excuse me? Did fireworks went off my head? That is totally amazing! I cheered, hugging him. He hugged back. "That's so great Harry! I'm so proud of you!" I cheered. "Thanks! Can't wait to write Dad and Mom!" He said. We parted. Especially my Mom. She'll be hella excited. Harry sighed. "I'm a little nervous though. The quidditch game is this weekend and it's Gryffindors against Slytherins. What if I- I cut him off. "Harry, you'll do incredible! You're outrageously strong and smart! It's no brainer you caught that ball easily as if you caught a snitch. Just keep practicing and focusing this week. Don't listen to anyone like Malfoy because you are better than good enough." I advised. He smiled warmly. "Thanks Skylar. You're really great yourself." He said. My cheeks burned red. I cheered excitingly. "Alright! Let's get ready for dinner so we can celebrate!" I cheered. He chuckled as I pulled him back upstairs to our dormitories.

I blew bubble gum bubbles out of my mouth and sipped on pumpkin juice. Ron chuckled, blowing two more out. Pink and blue bubbles were flying mid-air. One of the first year kids popped them. Harry smiled. "This reminded me when we blew bubbles on Christmas. Your Mom snuck candies from Honeydukes with cookies and gingerbread houses." He said. Their jaws dropped shockingly. I playfully rolled my eyes. "That's a whole lot of candy." Seamus added. Dean nodded in agreement. I smiled proudly. "The Scamanders are sugar-heads. We love anything chocolatey or sweet-tarty." I joked but in a serious tone. We laughed. Brianna sighed rather annoyedly. "Let's cheer with Butterbeer once Harry wins the game!" Ron said. We chatted in agreement and kept eating our plates. Hermione chuckled. "You lot are seriously mental." She joked. I scoffed. "Yeah right Granger." I sassed. She smirked innocently.
