My dream from last night lingered my thoughts for a little while. All I remember is a lion and lioness having so much fun together underneath the white butterflies and sunlight. Something that instantly warmed me from within. A feel of nothing but happiness. It's important to have this feeling yet I felt more than happy. Just amazing. Maybe this'll better be explained when we have Divination in third year. It includes dreams, stars and star signs too. But it's only one dream! I could have a million different dreams tonight or tomorrow night. I'm rather curious about the two lions enjoying each other in the forest. "Sky? Sky?" Hermione called. I snapped out of my thoughts. "Yeah?" I said. She looked at me worriedly. "Are you alright? You kinda spaced out." She asked. I cleared my throat and grabbed my wand off the nightstand. "Yeah! I'm perfectly fine." I partially lied. "Did you sleep well last night?" She asked. I inhaled a deep breath and crossed my arms. "Very good I guess." I told her. She was confused till Brianna came downstairs dressed and wore her robe. I forgotten we waited in the common room for her to get ready. Apparently, she had a little accident with her earrings. "Sorry mates! One tiny mistake!" She said cheerily. Hermione fake smiled. "Luckily, you're ready and it's only 7:30." She said sarcastically. I low-key snickered while wrapping my backpack behind my back. Brianna rolled her eyes and smiled. "Too bad I'm in a good mood to be frowning." She said confidently. We left through the hole and carefully rode the staircase with two second years. I sighed sadly. "It's awful we'll miss Thanksgiving with our parents." I said. She nodded in agreement. "Normally we'd watch movies, eat Turkey and dressing, eat slices of delicious pumpkin pies. We done all those things with the Avengers!" She said, smiling at the last part. Hermione smiled and gasped. "Really?" She asked. I chuckled. "Yup! I remember Thor and Loki were eating like rabbit dogs." I joked. We laughed as we stepped on the floor and walked off. Brianna giggled uncontrollably. "Stop it! I'm still hungry!" She giggled. I sighed happily. "Good times." I said. Hermione shrugged. "We could try to do something holiday like! Say, wear outfits autumn-inspired or watch movies..." She trailed off. My brain clicked. O.M.G! No! No! I completely forgot! My eyes widened. "Oh no! I forgot!" I panicked. They looked at me confusedly. "Forgot what?" Hermione asked. "Since it's my first Thanksgiving without my family, I planned to have a Seven Super Girls marathon with a bag of food and drink Mom ordered from Chick-fil-A." I told them. They shared confusion. "What?" They said in unison. I playfully rolled my eyes. "I planned to watch my favorite YouTubers while eating a bag of food from a muggle restaurant." I corrected. They chatted in understanding as we entered the Hall and saw the boys chatting. We sat between each other before making our breakfasts. Brianna smiled. "Seven Super Girls huh? Never gets old." She said. I chuckled. Ron raised an eyebrow weirdly. "Seven Super what?" He asked. Harry smirked knowingly. "A YouTube channel of girls doing absolute random things." He told him. I smiled widely. "That's why they're called Seven Super Girls! I'll be spending my time watching and having my favorite muggle food Mom will send me!" I beamed. Hermione looked at me weirdly. "How you'll know it'll come?" She asked. I smiled confidently. "Christmas brings miracles." I whispered in her ear. She playfully rolled her eyes and smirked. "Yeah yeah." She said. Ron sighed deeply. "Watching girly videos? How fun." He said sarcastically. Brianna sighed annoyedly. "Boys aren't allowed to join dummy. Only girls." She said, referring to us. They breathed a breath of relief. I smiled. "Oh cmon, I enjoyed watching it with Harry." I joked but in a serious tone. He smiled sheepishly which made Ron chuckle. Hermione low-key giggled.

During lunchtime, I was back in my room waiting for Mom's package full of my food. It's around November so she must be gathering things for Thanksgiving. Usually, I'd be with her preparing the house and grabbing dinner ingredients. Brianna was bringing her lunch from the Hall while I set up our tablet TV to watch SSG. The others stayed in the Hall to eat. I'm clueless of where Hermione went but I'm sure she's joining. On cue, Bambi flew to my window with an envelope? I looked at it weirdly and got off the bed. I untied it off her feet, giving her a rub. She squeaked before flying out. I unraveled the envelope and began reading the letter.

Dear Skylar,

I'm so sorry I forgot to get your lunch. With the holidays around the corner, we are super busy preparing everything. You'll surely get used to being away from home during the holiday except Christmas when I'll see your happiest smile. Send me a letter of anything you want for Christmas before next month! :)

Love you loads,
Mom

I huffed. Fantastic. Just fantastic. First I get grounded on Halloween and now my binge-show lunch isn't coming. I can only hope Christmas will be much different than this. I dropped the letter on the nightstand and flunked myself on my bed. The door half-opened, revealing Brianna holding her lunch plate. She smiled. "Mom sent you lunch yet?" She asked. I nodded my head no. "She's too busy doing holiday work." I told her. She sighed and walked in. "Is it bad to say I didn't think it'd come?" She asked. I rolled my eyes. "Oh ye little faith." I said sarcastically. She shrugged while smirking. "That's why we came!" She said. I was confused till Hermione came in holding a bag of candy and three Pumpkin Juice bottles. My eyes widened. What? Where did- how did she get those? She chuckled. "Surprise!" She said. I looked at her in disbelief. "Mione, I thought you were at the Hall?" I asked. Hermione sighed happily. "Well, I didn't want you to be alone since Harry's with the boys and unfortunately you hadn't ate lunch so why not have a girl's dorm picnic?" She asked. Brianna smiled, putting her plate of Macaroni & Cheese on the nightstand. "You can have some Macaroni and cheese with me." She added. I couldn't believe they done all this for me. They're really awesome. I cheered happily. "Let's do it!" I beamed. We laughed and sat beside each other. "Where did you get the candy?" I asked. "Fred and George." They said in unison. I nodded in agreement and twisted the cap of my bottle. We began watching my favorite SSG girls Jazzy and Kaitlyn. The whole time we laughed while eating lunch. "Seriously, how does she turn into a mermaid?" Hermione asked, giggling. I chuckled and shrugged. Brianna smiled. "You gotta admit. Her tail looks cute." She said. We chatted in agreement. "This is better watching this with you than Harry. He gets whiny about all the girly things." I admitted. "Excuse me?!" A voice blurted. We shared confusion till I got up and opened the door, making the boys fall to the floor. Our jaws dropped. Were they spying the whole time? Harry smiled nervously. "Hi..." He trailed off. Ron laughed. "Did he really whine?" He snickered. He nudged his shoulder. I giggled. Oh Harry.
