"Bye. Have a good rest." I said. Brianna shifted herself comfortably in bed and nodded. "I'll try. It's kinda boring here." She said softly. I chuckled, waving. She returned the gesture as I walked out of the wing. I checked my phone time. It's almost 10:30. Ooh. Thankfully, visiting Bri would be the reason if I'm late. I walked pass third year Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs. "Ay, Rogers!" A voice called from behind. I turned to see Malfoy with his friends talking to third years. He wrapped his bag around his shoulder before walking up to me. "How was visiting your sister? After she fainted?" He teased. Ugh. I don't have time for him. I rolled my eyes and turned away. He continued following beside me. Seriously? "Creep much?" I sassed. Draco smiled innocently. "Nope. We have the same class. Herbology." He said. I fake smiled. "And thanks to you I'm probably late." I said. He scoffed, raising an eyebrow. "You got free period because your sister is sick. Lucky. I'd pretend to be if it means missing that class." He said. I scoffed and chuckled. "Miss Herbology? Why? Do the mandrakes hurt your ears?" I joked. Draco huffed which made me giggle. "Whatever. It's almost free period so you got nothing to worry about...except the homework you'll get." He said, smirking. I rolled my eyes. "Why should I be talking to you? You broke my sister's heart because she's not in your house." I growled. He fake chuckled. "You think I ditched our date because she's a Gryffindor?" He asked. "That's what I heard." I said confidently. Somehow he grabbed my arm gently to stop me from walking. "My family wouldn't approve of someone I'm dating is half-blood. Second, she doesn't seem like my type." He told me. I playfully rolled my eyes. "I can think of many reasons she could be your type." I said. He scoffed. "What?" He asked. I smiled sheepishly. "It's a long list." I joked. Draco chuckled. "I'd love to read it." He said. Surprisingly, he's not too much of a jerk. I pulled out my phone and checked. Already past ten. Professor Sprout's gonna kill me. I sighed. "I'm past late now. Thanks a lot." I said sarcastically. He smirked teasingly. "Are you really?" He asked. Out of nowhere, McGonagall run-walked up to me and breathed a breath of relief. "Thank goodness I found you Miss Rogers! I wanted to let you know that your homework for Herbology was delayed because you were tending Miss Brianna. You'll be relieved to know she'll be able to attend classes tomorrow." She told me. My jaw dropped but I managed to close it. Homework delayed? Brianna coming back from the hospital? I smiled. "Thanks Professor." I said. She returned the gesture and looked at Draco. "Mr. Malfoy." She said. He smiled innocently. "Professor." He said. She cleared her throat abruptly. "You both should head to your Houses and prepare for your flying class later. Hurry!" She urged before walking off. My eyes widened. "Wow! I'm free! Free!" I cheered. He couldn't help but chuckle. "Awesome right? We should go though." He said, turning away. He stopped and smiled dashingly. "You look bloody amazing today." He said. I fake smiled. "Don't get hexed Malfoy." I said. He smirked and continued leaving. My cheeks burned hotly. What an oddly conversation.

In our room, I was flipping through my Charms book and practicing the spells. Hermione smiled while reading hers. "It's a relief Brianna gets to come to classes tomorrow eh?" She said. I nodded. "Debatable but alright." I quickly said. She laid the book on her bed and smirked. "I know she messed up by taking the apple but it was a mistake. We all make mistakes." She said. Thoughts played on my mind about Draco. The reason why he ditched Brianna is because his family didn't want him associating with half-bloods. Hm. I'm surprised he was honest about it. "Sky? Sky?" Hermione called. I snapped out of my thoughts. "Yeah?" I said. "What were you thinking of?" She asked. I smiled sheepishly. "Thinking Brianna would need more practice on charms. She is a little rusty." I partially lied. She sighed. "Ron's more rustier when it comes to Charms or in fact Magical Theory." She added. I nodded in agreement. "Have you seen him and Harry?" I asked. She shrugged. "Boys dorm. Doing boyish things." She said. I smiled, closing the book and pulling my broom from under my bed. "Makes me excited for flying class. I'll beat him more at broom racing." I told her. Hermione chuckled. "You two are quite competitors." She joked. I giggled. True fact. "Once. Just once I beaten him when we played Quidditch in his backyard. I never talked about it much because of his fragile ego." I told her. Her eyes widened. "Really? Were you a Keeper? Beater?" She asked. I smiled. "Chaser. He was of course Seeker. My little brother Kyle was too little to play." I said. Hermione smirked. "Ever thought of joining Quidditch?" She asked. Me? Quidditch? Whoa. Harry always talked about us playing Quidditch. I didn't know he would be serious. I looked down and chuckled. "Hadn't really. Who knows? Maybe next time." I said. She smirked while shrugging. "We'll see at flying class." She teased. I playfully rolled my eyes but nodded.

All the first years were leaving the common rooms to Madam Hooch's pitch. I carried my broom and a few kids complimented because cmon, it's the Nimbus 2000. "Hey pretty brown eyes!" Draco teased, walking pass me with his friends. My cheeks burned red. Damn what? I rolled my eyes. "Hello and goodbye." I sassed. Harry looked at him annoyedly. "What was that about?" He asked. "Nothing." I quickly said. Hermione scoffed. "Just ignore him guys." She said. Ron nodded in agreement and smiled. "Skylar, can we have a one-by-one ride on your Nimbus?" He asked. "Yeah same here!" Seamus said excitedly. Dean scoffed, raising an eyebrow. "Not if I go first!" He said. We laughed as they kept begging and got to the pitch.
