My alarm clock on my phone went insanely buzzing. I jumped, almost falling off my bed. I yawned and rubbed my eyes tiredly. It was still buzzing so I quickly turned it off and saw the reminder. 'IT'S MY B-DAY!!!🥳😋🎂' I smiled and cheered while jumping on my bed. "It's my birthday! I'm 11! Thank you heaven!" I cheered. It's summer and I've been waiting for this special day to arrive. Not only it's in summer but I'll have an amazing birthday party with my family, my god-family and my best friend Harry. Unfortunately, my godmother Lily don't let him have a phone until he's thirteen so at least we talk directly. My little brother Kyle came in. He smiled teasingly. "Happy birthday weirdo!" He said, hugging me. I laughed and hugged back. "Thank you little bro." I said. We parted. He inhaled a deep breath while smiling. "Cmon! Mom said get yourself showered and get dressed! She has a surprise!" He said. I nodded, closing the door in front of him and picking out my Justice outfit. This girl's birthday is full everything on a to-do list. I pulled out my shower necessities and walked in the bathroom.

After showering, I took the scrunchie off my hair and got dressed into this:

I brushed my hair a few times and slipped my phone in my pocket. I raced downstairs before Kyle followed behind. In the kitchen, Mom and Dad were chatting and laughing. They saw me and smiled happily. "Happy birthday!" They said in unison. I cheered, laughing. Dad playfully picked me up and flew me around like an airplane. I kept laughing. "Dad! I'm too old for this!" I said. Kyle chuckled. "Yeah. She's too heavy." He joked. He put me down and I stuck my tongue out. Mom playfully rolled her eyes. "Alright you two. We need to bring our surprise to our little girl." She said, smirking at the last part. I shrugged. "What is it?" I asked. Dad playfully put Kyle over his shoulder easily. "Cmon Kyle, let's get you dressed." He said. Mom shushed me with her finger. "Don't tell daddy. We all know how he is about you both eating sugar." She whispered. My brain clicked. I know what the surprise is! Yay! I miss going to that place. I smiled widely and nodded. "Secret safe." I said. She giggled before her phone buzzed. "Who is that?" I asked. She looked up and smiled. "Your godmother." She told me. "Can I talk to her please? Please! Please!" I begged frantically. Mom smirked and raised an eyebrow. "Meaning you wanna talk to Harry?" She asked. My cheeks burned red. "Yup." I said shyly. Dad returned with Kyle dressed up. "Ok, are we going out for our princess?" He asked. Mom nodded while talking to godmother Lily. "Yes, I'll see you later. Bye." She said and hung up. Kyle kept hanging onto Dad's leg. "Can we go out now Mommy?" He asked. She smiled. "Yes." She said, winking at me. I laughed.

"Alex! The kids can't have sugar for breakfast!" Dad whined. We were at my favorite breakfast house in New York. Mom huffed. "Honey, it's her favorite breakfast place! And it's her birthday so it'll be just one sugary breakfast." She told him. Dad rolled his eyes. "Correction. Two." He said, referring to Kyle licking his lips toward the chocolatey syrup-filled French toasts he ordered. I ordered strawberry pancakes with whip cream and fruit punch. I hummed delightfully while eating a third piece. Kyle gobbled down the toasts like one giant hungry bear. Eww! Dad cleared his throat. "Kyle." He said firmly. He grabbed the napkins and wiped the chocolate off his face. I chuckled. Mom sighed happily. "This is such an exciting day huh? Today is your birthday and today is..." She trailed off. I smiled excitingly. "The day I get my Hogwarts letter!" I said. She laughed and cheered. Dad smiled. "When are they mailing it?" He asked. "They're supposed to mail it when I'm of the age 11 which I am." I told him. Mom rubbed my shoulder and wrapped her arm around my neck. "Don't worry babygirl, you will get your letter." She assured. I nodded and finished my breakfast since those pancakes filled me up. "How about shopping?" I asked. Dad and Kyle groaned softly. Mom chuckled. "Just like mommy." She whispered in his ear.
