Draco hadn't known who used the curse on him. He could make Crabbe and Goyle bully someone into admitting who done it. Brianna was obviously a gifted sneaker who don't get caught often. He kept this cold glare toward our house table during dinner. Everyone headed to their dormitories and I dressed into my PJs before grabbing a book from inside our nightstand. A different one since Hermione's still reading the other. I walked down to the empty common room and shoved my wand in my pocket. I really haven't read in a long while. The fireplace was burning lit. I sat on the couch with my legs crossed and opened the book's page. I laid against the couch and began reading the words in my head. Back in New York, I was used to the noises I'd hear through my door because of Dad chatting with Tony, Natasha, Bucky and Sam. Practically any of the Avengers who visited. Kyle would go through changes because his magic was developing as he was physically. When our grandparents visit, sometimes Grandpa brings his work with him. Loudness seemed to be in this family's DNA. It feels weird but rather ok to hear nothing. I sighed happily and turned the page over. "Skylar?" A boyish voice called. I turned to the dorm entry to see Harry in his PJs. "Well good evening to you too." I joked. He chuckled. "What are you doing up?" He asked. I placed my green bookmark between the page and closed the book. "Some light reading." I told him. He sat beside me and smirked. "More reading? Too much time with Hermione?" He asked sarcastically. I shrugged innocently. "I thought you knew me Potter." I said in a high-pitched voice. We chuckled quietly. "What is it called?" He asked. I smiled softly. "Superhero High: Wonder Woman." I said. He hummed in response. "What's it about?" He asked. "Beats me. I'm on chapter two. A school practically filled of superhero children. Wonder Woman's the first beside Supergirl from another dimension to attend." I explained. Harry looked at me curiously. "Your parents been to a super school?" He asked. I nodded my head no. "Mom was an Auror before she decided to become an Avenger. She trained as a S.H.I.E.L.D agent. A protective agency my Dad once served as Captain before Avengers. I've heard cool stories about their missions together. Some sort of hero love story." I said, joking at the last part. He chuckled. "That's what it sounds like." He agreed. I sighed happily. "Must be amazing to be an Avenger. Saving people's lives. Fight off maniacs! Pow! Pow! Pow!" I said while air-punching. Harry smiled and nodded. "Bloody amazing. Especially my parents being Aurors." He said. Now I'm suddenly feeling parched. A little tea would help. I got off the couch and put the book down. "Want some tea?" I asked. He quickly nodded before getting up. We poured two cups of green tea and sat back down. It was still hot so I sipped carefully. He did the same. "How's studying? Having trouble?" I asked, referring to the final exam. He inhaled a deep breath. "A little bit." He told me. I smiled. "We can always study this weekend or tomorrow." I said. He returned the gesture. "Tomorrow's perfect." He said. These arousing butterflies rose in my stomach and I felt my knees weakening. My hands felt clammy but I rubbed them on my lap. Redness filled my cheeks. "Great." I muttered shyly. Harry looked at me oddly. "Are you alright? Are you feeling unwell?" He asked. I cleared my throat and nodded. "Yeah." I lied confidently. He simply shrugged. "Excited for Christmas?" He asked. That brought me a huge smile after awkwardness. "Yes! Can't wait! Snow, cookies, Christmas trees, hot chocolate and Onesies!" I cheered. Harry looked at me in shock. "Christmas must be your favorite holiday." He said. I nodded in agreement. "One of my favorite holidays. I really can't pick." I told him. He chuckled. "That book. Can you read it to me?" He asked. I pointed myself and pointed at the book. "You. Want. Me. To. Read. A book. To. You?" I asked in disbelief. He playfully rolled his eyes and smiled. "Why not?" He asked. I smiled sheepishly. "No offense but you don't seem like...the bookworm type." I said. Harry scoffed arrogantly. "If I could become a first year Quidditch seeker, then I can handle reading a book." He bragged. I bursted into a fit of snickers. "I highly doubt it!" I snickered. He smiled confidently. "Then I shall prove it to you." He said. I sipped my cup and returned the gesture. "Alright then..." I trailed off. I opened the book and began reading. He scooted closer to me while listening.

It wasn't long till 11pm. We fell asleep on the couch with my book placed on the armchair. I slept on Harry's stomach and his arm around my neck. Feeling his steady heartbeat sent butterflies and chills down my spine. His glasses were slightly lop-sided on his face. The lit fireplace made our cold PJs feel warmer. He shifted a bit and wiped his eyes groggily. I was still sleeping peacefully. He smiled sweetly while caressing my curls. "I had fun with you." He whispered but I didn't hear him until his soft snores were heard again.
