Next Morning...

"My first Halloween at Hogwarts will be legendary!" I cheered. Hermione smiled knowingly. "Guessing it's because costumes, candy, scare pranks?" She teased. I fake gasped. "How'd you know?" I asked sarcastically. Harry chuckled nervously. "Sounds brilliant." He muttered. Sheamus looked at him weirdly. "You seem a little nervous Harry." He added. I smiled deviously. Man, I love scare-pranking. "Yes, why is that?" I asked. Hermione rolled her eyes and nudged my shoulder. "Don't act so terrifying." She scolded. Ron laughed. "Are you- he cut me off. "Nope!" He said embarrassingly. Dean and Sheamus low-key chuckled. "Sky, tell us any scare pranks you done." Sheamus said. I almost spoke until Hermione did. "Anyways, is Brianna better? Have she left the wing?" She asked. Neville gasped, looking ahead. "Yes!" He answered. We turned to see Brianna at the entrance. She looked absolute better and smiled happily. I returned the gesture and got off the table. She ran into my arms and hugged. I laughed, hugging back. Everyone smiled. "Welcome back!" I cheered. We parted. She breathed a breath of relief. "Thanks. It felt like a lifetime being stuck in bed." She said. Ron snickered. "To be honest you were ghostly pale the last time we seen you." He joked. Brianna fake smiled. "And you're still trying to ace a spell." She sassed. The boys laughed including me. Hermione covered half her face from giggling. Ron stuck his tongue out. She sat beside me and began making her breakfast. "First Halloween at Hogwarts huh?" She said. I nodded, smiling. Super excited! Fred smirked. "They also decorate the Great Hall for Halloween. You're gonna love it!" He added. George returned the gesture. "And a little freaky too." He said. I could've sworn Brianna cringed once he mentioned freaky. She's not really fond of actual scary things. Harry smiled. "Can't wait to see it." He said. I nodded in agreement. "Hogwarts must be filled of Halloween material!" I cheered. Brianna sighed. "Can you stop? Your enthusiasm is hurting my appetite." She said annoyedly. I scoffed and raised an eyebrow. "Everything exciting hurts your appetite." I sassed. She huffed. "Just shut it!" She growled. Fred chuckled. "Why's that Rogers? Is Halloween sounds spooky?" He teased. George smiled. "Halloween's full of everything spooky. The tall monster giants, the bloodthirsty vampires- she cut him off. "Vampires aren't really scary. They're actually handsome. Have you read Twilight books?" She gushed. Everyone looked at each other then back at her. "Eww!" They said disgustedly. I couldn't help but giggle. She wasn't wrong. Two owls flew inside the Hall. Bambi and Hedwig. They were carrying two big packages with letters tied on them. They touched down in front of us. Everyone stared curiously. We untied the packages and began reading our letters.

Dear Skylar,
Happy Halloween to you and Harry! Here's a little activity that'll brings you closer to home. :)

P.S. Be careful using the carving knife!

Love, Mom

Dear Harry,
Me and Aunt Alex brought you something from home that you can do with your friends! Enjoy sweetie! :)

P.S. Be careful using the carving knife!

My eyes widened. Carving knife? I opened the package and it revealed a 4-sized pumpkin. Harry had the same. His jaw dropped, smiling. "Aunt Alex got us pumpkins to carve!" He beamed. Everyone's eyes widened. Ron smiled. "Whoa!" He said. Brianna looked around confusedly. "Hello, did she forget someone?" She asked sarcastically. Harry rolled his eyes. "You hate carving pumpkins." We said in unison. Her face lit up. "Oh yeah!" She quickly said. Hermione laughed. These will the tip of my Hogwarts Halloween. Dean smirked. "You oughta make scary faces on them! And lit them up with lanterns!" He said. I smiled and cheered. "Good idea!" I said. Harry scoffed. "Of course, yours will be upmost freakiest." He sassed. I fake pouted but nodded in agreement. "Touché." I said. He chuckled. Ron snickered. "What ever the wise, let's carve these freakin' pumpkins!" He cheered. Brianna fake smiled. "Enjoy your Jack-O lanterns! I'm gonna be occupied looking up Bella Swan costumes." She said proudly. We stared at her weirdly as she finishes her breakfast. And I'll be occupied by cringing.

In the common room, Harry and I were carving our pumpkins. I was fully determined to make mine as spooky as possible. We used to always carve our pumpkins and wear costumes. A silly memory unlocked my brain. We once dressed up as Dad and the Avengers. He was carving it's eyeballs while I did the nose and mouth. He sometimes struggled which is why Ron's here. All the smelly guts were in both trashcans. I carefully carved another piece from the mouth. "Harry! You're supposed to make it's nose look crooked!" Ron complained. He huffed annoyedly. "I'm going as crooked as I can." He told him. I hid a giggle before moving onto the eyes. Those guts were beginning to contaminate the air. I strongly ignored. "Blimey, these smell like ass!" Ron whined disgustedly. I nodded in agreement while carving the eye circle. Harry sighed. "If only we had masks." He muttered. Ron snickered. "Imagine if these were spilled on Crabbe and Goyle- he stopped and playfully shoved Harry crazily. "Ow!" He blurted as he accidentally slit his finger with the knife. Our jaws dropped. I cringed in pain. That oughta hurt! "Are you ok Harry?" I asked worriedly. Ron cringed painfully. "That doesn't look too good." He added. The blood started oozing from his finger. Harry groaned in pain. "Ya think?!" He growled sarcastically. I playfully rolled my eyes and dropped my knife in the pumpkin. "Don't be such a baby. Let's go grab bandages and- I stopped when my brain clicked. Wait. Maybe this little accident can also be a scare prank. I smiled. "Actually, it's kinda good." I said. They looked at me as if I'm crazy. "How is bleeding from a knife good?" Ron asked confusedly. I huffed, whispering in his ear. He smirked and nodded in understanding. Harry cleared his throat. "Hello? Is anybody gonna get Madam Pomfrey?" He asked while waving his bleeding finger. Ron smiled excitingly. "We're gonna do a prank on Brianna! It involves your finger!" He beamed. He stared at us in shock. I grabbed his finger and scraped the blood all over our pumpkins's mouths. Brianna's voice was beginning to be heard outside the portrait hole. Harry sighed rather annoyedly. "You lot are mental." He said. I chuckled. Ron shushed us before we rushed to the dormitory. The hole opened, revealing Brianna. She immediately met eye contact with our pumpkins. "Oh my..." She trailed off. Harry's blood was slightly dripping on their mouths. Her eyes widened. She began taking deep breaths while pointing shakily at the blood. "Are you dreaming Bri or there's blood in those pumpkins?" She whispered. Harry hung onto his finger and inhaled a deep breath. Aww, his hand's still hurting. "Go find a water pitcher. Hurry." I whispered. He nodded, running past Ron. Brianna screamed horrifically and ran till she tripped over a lampshade. We bursted into laughter. She was confused till we came from hiding. "Got ya!" I laughed. Brianna growled, getting off the floor. "You pranked me with two bloodied pumpkins?! That was low. Even for you." She growled. Ron kept chuckling. "Pranking's all about going low." He sassed. I laughed and nodded. "Very low." I said, referring to the broken lampshade. Brianna huffed. "So, what was it? Fake blood?" She asked. I almost spoke till Harry walked in with his stitched finger. She studied the finger then pumpkins. "Oh my..." She trailed off before collapsing on the floor. We smiled nervously. He facepalmed his forehead.
