John pov

My family knew that my wife and i were expecting another baby. Well most of them knew. Rose was yet to find out and I was most excited for her to know. I had been buzzing all day just waiting until at tea when I could finally tell her. I was going pollys for tea so I could let Rose know the exciting news as was esme. The kids had a babysitter.

"John calm down" esme laughed watching me pace around

"I'm just so excited" I said jumping up and down. She stood up and kissed me

"Wanna get rid of some of that energy before we leave?" She asked as i kissed her neck. We were a little late for tea due to the delay but only by 10 minutes. When I walked in, rose was sat on the sofa talking with her teddy

"Now even if you don't like it just pretend" she told her Teddy. She sat looking at it waiting for a reply

"I know Arthur's a terrible cook but it's only polite to eat whatever he serves us"  she said. Me and esme walked closer when she noticed us

"Hi esme. Hi johnny" she greeted. I ruffled her hair before plonking down next to her

"So Arthur's cooking ay?" I asked

"Ye. He's making pasta apparently. And we all remember what happened last time" she said eyes widening. I chuckled but remembered the day. Arthur was cooking pasta for rose since he was babysitting. Everyone else was busy. I walked past the house with my 2 of my boys and my daughter when I saw flames. Arthur had almost burnt the kitchen down but luckily no one got hurt.

"Teas ready" he yelled. We all walked to the dining room and sat down as Arthur Brought the food out.

"Wow Arthur this actually looks edible" I said in shock

"Oh please don't flood me with your compliments or I might drown" he said sarcastically.

"Where the fucks finn?" Tommy asked.

"Rose go get him will ya" polly asked rose. She nodded and stood on her chair

"Finny" she yelled very loud making us all cover our ears.

"I could've done that" polly said

"Then why didn't ya?" Rose asked genuinely confused. I forced her to sit down before she broke something and minutes later finn came running down. He sat in the seat next to rose only for her to shoot daggers at him

"What am I sitting on?" He mumbled standing up

"Mr Bobby" Rose said angrily. Finns eyes widened as he gave rose the Teddy

"I am so sorry" he apologised knowing rose could kick his arse

"You're in that seat" she said coldly pointing to the empty chair opposite. He nodded scared and ran around to his chair. Rose put Mr Bobby on the chair and began eating, glaring at finn every once in a while making him gulp

"So rose we have something to tell you" esme said smiling. Rose looked up with pasta sauce all round her face

"Esme is gonna have a baby. You're gonna have another niece or nephew" I told her. She didn't really show her emotions on her face, just scrunched up her eye brows

"When?" She asked

"Still a few more months love" esme told her

"Where is it now?" He asked

"In esmes belly" I said.

"Oh. Congratulations. And please can you make it a girl. Your boys are loud" she begged
