Finn pov

I was in my house with isiah and Michael. We were drinking around the table and laughing non stop. It was a good night. I was looking after rose but she was in bed already. I think. Its half 11 so I'm assuming she fell asleep by now. If not then that's her problem. We carried on drinking and then I saw my baby sister walk downstairs

"Hi guys" she said running up to us. She was bouncing in her place with a smile on her face

"Woah there. You good?" Michael asked referring to all the energy she possessed

"Guess what I've been doing all night" she said looking at us.

"Well we were hoping sleeping but since it's clearly not that why don't ya tell us" isiah said lifting rose up and putting her on his knee.

"I've ate a full tub of ice cream because finny forgot to feed me but I'm not mad because i got ice cream from it and then I jumped on my bed and then had more ice cream and I listened to music and danced and jumped on the bed and I had my first cup of coffee and it was really nice so I had 2 more cups of coffee after that and then I got bored so i came downstairs to see what you guys are doing so whatcha doing" she said in one sentence extremely fast

"I think someone's had too much caffeine and sugar" I said ruffling her hair

"No finny I've not had enough so much so that I'm gonna go get more ice cream because who doesn't like ice cream" she said running off. She came back with a tub of ice cream and a spoon. She sat on a chair around the table and watched us drink and play cards. She couldn't stop talking and jumping in her seat

"OK. I think it's time for bed" I said going round the table to lift her up. But she jumped from her seat and ended up opposite me. I ran around the table chasing her until once again we are opposite one another

"Rose. I mean it. Bed" I said trying to be stern.

"You're funny" she giggled snorting. Isiah and Michael were laughing at my poor attempt to capture her

"Why don't you stop laughing and help?" I suggested

"No way" Michael said

"Ye. This is way too entertaining" isiah added. Rose giggled again and I continued to chase her for 10 minutes before I got tired and sat down in defeat

"Please rose" I begged as she looked at me

"Hmmm....nope" she said laughing and running out the room

"I'm just gonna leave her. She'll tire herself out eventually" i said. That was a mistake. Isiah and Michael left at half 1 in the morning. I showed them out and then went upstairs to bed. But on my way to my room I heard laughing. I followed the sound and it was coming from the storage cupboard. I opened the door to find rose sat on the floor with food all round her mouth

"For fucks sake. Bed" I ordered. I went to pick her up but she ran under my legs. How does she have so much energy? Oh wait I know the answer. 2 tubs of ice cream, 3 cups of coffee and by the looks of it, a whole load of chocolate. Why did this have to happen the night I babysat? Oh wait I know that answer aswell. Because I'm an idiot who forgot to feed her tea so she ended up pigging out on junk.

I ran to go and follow her. It wasn't hard from the constant giggling going on. I chased all round the house until eventually, I just let her run around like a headless chicken and didn't even try to stop her. I sat downstairs though keeping an eye on her because I may be slightly neglectful but I'm not majorly neglectful. Still gotta make sure she's safe.

It got to the point of 4am where I was prepared to shoot myself for some peace. Rose was still running around energetically and I was on the sofa with a bowl of water next to me. The water was so every time I almost dozed off, I would just dunk my face in the cold water to wake me up. Worked for abit until I got to the point of tiredness where there is no going back.

At 5 o'clock, she opened another tub of ice cream

"No. No more ice cream" I yelled as i heard the freezer open. She walked in the living room with a tub of ice cream and a spoon

"How are you not sick?" I cried out

"I'm built different" she said showing her muscles before laughing and running off. She was running up and down stairs so I went to sit on the steps incase she fell so I could catch her.

At 7 o'clock, she slowed down and sat on my knee on the step

"I'm sleepy" she said rubbing her eyes. I didn't have the energy to move and so held her close and fell asleep on the second step up with rose laying ontop of me.

Tommy pov

At 9 o'clock, we were waiting for finn who was half an hour late to the family meeting.

"He had a rough night last night" Michael said

"How come?" John asked

"He forgot to feed rose so she spent the entire night eating ice cream and drinking coffee. Came downstairs at midnight running about. Doubt she went to sleep quickly" isiah chuckled. We left the family meeting and all went to check that finn and Rose were still alive.

When we walked in, we saw no one at first but then Arthur said

"Aw come look at this" We ran over to where he was and saw finn, lying on a step with his arms and legs on different steps, rose lay ontop of him wth her head on a step and hair everywhere. There was chocolate all over her mouth and finn had bags under his eyes

"Finn" John shook him awake

"Piss off" finn grumbled. He adjusted to the light and then sat up

"Why you on the steps?" Polly asked

"At 5 in the morning she was running up and down. I sat here to catch her if she fell. When at 7 she finally said she was tired i didn't have the energy to move" he explained groggily. I went and lifted rose from him

"Come on. Let's get you 2 in bed" I said pulling him up. Arthur came with me and finn was basically leaning on him for support. I walked them to Finns bedroom and Arthur lay the sleeping finn down. I put rose down next to him. Both were asleep when we left the room. I walked downstairs to see the family stood waiting

"Well his sleep schedule is broken" John chuckled

"And hers" Arthur said

"You know she is sleeping yours tonight right?" Polly reminded him. He stopped for a second before running his hand through his hair

"Oh for fuck sake" he said looking up at the sky eyes closed

"Well looks like you're not sleeping tonight" i said clapping him round the back.
