"Now come on love its not that bad" Tommy tried to convince me but I wouldn't be pushed around by him. I'm a big girl now. Almost an adult. I can make my own decision on who I like and who I don't. And this particular woman, I did not like

"It isn't fair" I grumbled crossing my arms and slouching in my seat

"You havnt even met her rose. Give the woman a chance. For Arthur's sake" Ugh. Why did he have to bring Arthur into this?

"Fine. I'll stay at their fucking house. But only for Arthur" Tommy rolled his eyes and ruffled my hair as I dawdled to my room to get my bag packed. Normally I would love to stay at Arthur's. But he got married to some woman called Linda recently. I've never met her, but I'm not looking forward to this. She could be a lovely person, but the point is, she's stolen Arthur away from me. And soon, knowing my brothers, she'll be up the duff and I'll no longer be his number 1 kid

Everyone had been trying to convince me to go and see the couple. All because they were worried I would drift away from Arthur. I mean, if he never got married in the first place, then we wouldn't be having this problem. What is wrong with me? I know I'm being selfish. He deserves to be happy more than anyone. I'm just worried that I'll like the woman so much, that I let her take Arthur away from me

Tommy drove me to Arthur's house and this is the longest I've ever been away from my eldest brother. So the moment I saw him on the drive way, I ran into his arms wanting my special Arthur hug. He lifted me up and spun me around before attacking me with tickles

"Stop stop. I'm gonna wet meself" I screamed with laughter as he put me down, chuckling to himself. Tommy walked over with my bag and handed it to Arthur

"Cheers Tom. Fucking hell. How much you got in here?" He asked me feeling the heavy weight of my bag. I just shrugged at him and went running around the drive with the dogs. I wasn't sure why my brothers were saying as i was being chased by atleast 6 dogs. But they looked very deep in conversation until a woman came out and interrupted them. She had a warm smile, gorgeous blonde hair. Like something you see in a movie. She was stunning. Maybe having a new sister in law wouldn't be so bad. I loved esme with all her heart. And grace (although not yet married to tommy) is like my sister in law. I was being so judgemental before

I walked over to the 3 adults and stand waiting for someone to introduce me

"Linda, this is my baby sister Rose" I stick my hand out with a smile on my face and she shakes it

"You're very pretty" I say in awe as Arthur agrees with me

"I should get back. Rose, can I have a quick word before I go?" Tommy pulled me to one side and knelt to my height

"Thank you for trying darling. I know you don't like change. But Arthur's being going through alot lately and he needs a woman to help him. Be a good girl" he gave me a hug and a kiss before leaving me alone with Arthur and Linda. I skipped over to them and held onto Arthur's hand as he swung me, entering his massive house. Like seriously, it was huge

We sat down for tea and it was a roast dinner. Lovely. I began digging in but then realised that my brother and his wife were looking at me

"Erm sweetie, we say grace before we eat" Arthur told me

"Oh sorry. Grace" and then I kept eating. But they still didn't seem satisfied. Nope. I was completely baffled

"Are you mocking me?" Linda asked. I gulped down my roast potato and shook my head slowly, not entirely sure on the answer she wanted
