Crystal and Candy headed off to find the others. Crystal had a map in her hand as Candy skipped besides her, humming "Sylveon Love"(Savage Love pokemon version).

"Candy, stop humming that song, it's so annoying." Crystal complained.

'Hey if you like 'Cold' by Pokeroon 5, I can like 'Sylveon Love' by Jolteon Derulo and Jinx 685." Candy replied, then continued to hum.

"I'm not saying that you don't need to like it, I just don't want you to hum it. And also forget Derulo, we have a better Jolteon named Zappy."

"Oh yeah. I forgot about him"

Crystal sighed and looked back at her map.

"Speaking of Zappy, Pepe and Blaze, their tree house is right up ahead. I know at least Pepe will be there. Zappy is usually on the battlefield and I haven't seen Blaze since he left the group."

Crystal and Candy stopped walking and looked in front of them. An old, broken, worn out tree house stood menacingly in front of them.

"Well, this is it. Their tree house."

"This? THIS is their tree house?? Looks like a tornado came through it-"

Candy wasn't wrong. The tree house seemed to have been ripped apart. Old and broken, but a little ball of fur could be seen, shivering and curled up. The fur ball seemed to be tan, with a little white color to be seen.

Crystal noticed the fur ball huddling in the broken tree house. "Is that......Pepe!"

"Wait!"

But Crystal was off. She ran up the tree like it was nothing, until she reached the house part. It looked like it was about to collapse. She looked across and saw the bundle of fur, and started to walk towards it. The wood creaked, and some broke, so she stood still when she couldn't go any farther without falling through.

"Big Brother? I-I-Is that y-you?" Pepe asked softly, turning around.

"Pepe, it's me! Crystal!" she said in a calm, yet excited, voice.

"C-crystal..?" Said a scared voice. She raised her head to look at Crystal. Her eyes showed only terror and fear.

What happened? Crystal thought, but she would save that for later.

"Come. I will help you down from here, it is too dangerous to stay here!" she took another step forward, forgetting about how the floor was ready to give in, and it collapsed. Luckily, Crystal leapt back before she could fall down, along with the floor.

"I-I'm t-too scared...!" Pepe stepped backwards a bit, and then again, keeping her eyes fixed onto Crystal.

"Pepe! Be careful!" Crystal said, but it was too late.

With a loud crack, and a creak, the wood underneath Pepe gave out. Crystal watched in horror as she disappeared under the floor.

"PEPE!" she ran to the spot where the wood gave out, not even caring if she fell. She peaked over the edge.

Down, on the ground, was Pepe, covered in wood dust and surrounded by debris, while in Candy's ribbons.
