Candy hopped over a pile of trash, took several right and left turns as she speedily walked away from her problems, deeper and deeper into the maze of Yewnork's alleyways. She slowed down and put her paw gently onto Storm's scratch, but took it off a second later, as pain shot through her face.

Candy silently cried as she continued to walk.. "S-stupid f-f-friends...s-stupid me..."

The sudden tap, tap, tapping of the paws on the concrete behind her startled Candy. She turned around to see Willow, trying to be sneaky.

"HEY! WHY ARE YOU F-FOLLOWING ME?!?! LEAVE ME ALONE, LEAFHEAD!" Candy yelled defensively as she took off down the alley.

"W-wait!" Willow's quiet, calm voice said as she ran after Candy.

Candy leapt over trash cans, other pokemon, fences; anything she could do to get away. But, she suddenly felt a leafy vine wrap around her back leg, causing her to fall down onto the hard ground of the alley.

"Wh- LET! GO! I HATE YOU MORE THAN MYSELF." Candy yelled as she tried to rip the vine off her leg.

"No." Willow said sternly, grabbing Candy by the ear with her paw. "We are having a chat. You and me."

"A chat with my worst enemy..?" Candy thought for a moment, then started kicking and screaming, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

"Oh, don't worry, I feel the same way. But since I'm sooooooo nice, I'll help you feel better in the best way I can, that being having a nice calm chat." Willow said, dragging Candy out of the alleyway onto the sidewalk of a highway, with cars zooming by every second or two.

"The best thing you can do is LET ME GO!" Candy yelled.

"No! The best thing WE can do is help each other by talking!"

"I DON'T NEED YOUR HELP! SO FOR THE LAST TIME: LET. ME. GO."

"...NO!" Willow yelled as she tightened the vines around Candy's legs. "For once in your life, listen! You did a wrong, multiple actually, and you need to correct that! But you being Candy, don't know nor want to, which is bad! So, let me talk to you about it so maybe you'll be kind for the very first time in your pitiful life!"

Candy went silent as Willow angrily sat down, staring at the cars zoomed past

I...I've never heard Willow yell like that before.. Candy thought as she glanced at Willow, who was taking deep breaths.

"Are you, uh, okay, Leaf?" Candy asked quietly.

"Yes, I am. Just simply trying to calm myself down after getting all worked up." Willow mumbled.

"Yeah, that's the first time I've seen you yell like that.."

"And with good reason."

The two sat there silently for what felt like an hour, when, in reality, it was mere seconds.

"I'm not going to apologize for it, if that's what you are waiting for." Willow huffed.

"Oh, uh, no, I was just....I dunno what to say." Candy shuffled her feet

Willow looked at her, "Uh, how about 'Sorry for causing my best friend to curl up into a ball and cry about an accident he made a couple years ago''?! C'mon Candy, be smarter than this, will you?"
