Chapter 27: Tears, Bloodshed, and Blister

Pepe stepped back. "Wh..."

Crystal wrapped herself around the sobbing Zappy while glaring at Candy and comforting Zappy.

"Psy psyduck (So much death..) Plucky ducky mumbled as Phantom stepped in.

"You may have read his diary full of secrets, Candy, but I saw what truly happened." Phantom told Candy off.

Before Candy could say anything, Storm leapt at Candy and scratched her on her eye.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!" Storm screamed at Candy, now regretting her decision. "WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS?!?! READING YOUR FRIENDS' SECRETS AND HANDING THEM OUT LIKE CANDY!!! I KNOW ZAPPY, AND I KNOW THAT EVEN IF HE KILLED BLAZE'S CHILDHOOD FRIEND, HE DIDN'T INTEND IT, HE DIDN'T THINK IT'D HAPPEN, HE'D APOLOGIZE TOO MUCH ABOUT IT, AND HE'D FOREVER REGRET HIS DECISION. MAYBE TAKE SOME POINTERS FROM HIM."

"STOP." Willow screamed while comforting Pepe.

"Everyone stop. Listen, Candy, that was shiiii-" Willow cleared her throat. "That was shooty, even for you. Storm....you have done nothing wrong you are allowed to scream at Candy for the rest of the day. Zappy..."

Zappy had recovered at this point and was standing and still had tears in his eyes. He looked at Willow. "Yes. I killed Blaze's friend, Blister, in the champeonship. But, like Storm said, I didn't mean to."

"Zappy, tell us what happened." Crystal said, laying down as all the others besides Candy laid down.

"And I'll make sure he tells the truth." Phantom said.

"Incase y'all somehow think Zappy would lie." Willow finished as Candy wandered off. She looked at Candy as she walked off into a separate alley, then to everyone else, who weren't paying attention, and nudged Storm.

"I'll be back. Tell me everything." She said as she calmly walked off after Candy.

Zappy took a deep breath. "Okay, well, it all began at the second-to-last competition before I became the legal eeveelution champeon in the world..."

I was signing in when a rowdy shiny Flareon used headbutt onto my back.

"Oh! So sorry sir!" She told me.

"Haha, you're fine!" I said, "I finished signing in anyway."

I walked away when I heard the perky Flareon yell, "W-wait! Sir, wait!"

I turned around to see the Flareon using the pen to scribble as fast as she could onto the sign in form while the Vaporeon and Umbreon behind the Flareon watched in disgust. Then, she jumped over to me.

"I'm...Bl-lister Shink Flareon....here to..." She said, very much out of breath.

"Well, I'm Zappy Milk Jolteon, and I'll be the one here to win the champeonship!" I said to her.

"If you'd win, then I'd definitely be second place!" Blister said with a smile. "Anyway, I'm here to also become the champion! B-but being your- I mean, the champeon's right-hand woman would be fine by me, too!"
