Calmness. That's all the heroes wanted. Calmness, peace, and quiet. But we don't always get what we want, now do we? Well maybe that one lucky day; because after a long day of fighting and meeting new people, the group finally got one peaceful and calm day. They tried to make the most of it (but didn't of course they didn't, have you met that group?!).
"We're getting close to the battlefield." Zappy told everyone "Blaze has to be there! It's the only place."
"What if he isn't though?" Phantom asked. "Do we really need him? Just the seven of us combined are strong."
"I don't want to hear it; especially out of your mouth." Zappy growled, not turning to him.
"Pipe down you two. We're so close! We don't need to break up now." Willow said, trying to keep everything together.
"The Prophecy said there are eight heroes to defeat the villain; and Plucky Ducky isn't a two sided friend." Crystal answered Phantom's question.
"Psyduck! (Thank you!)" Plucky thanked her.
"But we don't even know what the missing piece says." Phantom reminded.
"It's probably something like: "Once they defeat the villain, the war will stop." " Candy guessed "Like, it's pretty obvious."
"What if we have to defeat the villain then, like, do something else? Like sticking a crystal into a magical healing port to "restore the land" or whatever?" Storm said.
"That seems very convoluted-" Crystal responded.
"That'd be so cool, though!" Zappy said with a smile.
"Well, I think we should still consider Storm's idea," Willow told the group, "But our main objective right now is to find this so-called "villain"."
"Maybe the Prophecy has something about it? Here let me see it Crystal" Phantom said as Crystal handed it to him.
" "One who combines all others," ...That's definitely Crystal... "another who's sass is nonstop," Candy..." Phantom kept mumbling parts of his prophecy when he looked up.
"Guys," He said sternly, "The Prophecy is in the order we were found, I mean, when we joined. First Crystal, then Candy, Pepe, Zappy, Willow, Storm, me, and then... well, someone else. Dunno who-"
The Eeveelutions looked at each other, all of their brains twirling. How had they forgotten? The last, mysterious Eeveelution, who could only be one of two people; Blaze, or Hewa, the two options being the people most of the group very much did not want to meet.
It seemed everyone was staring at Phantom while his own brain thought deeply. Everyone wanted to blurt something out, but they didn't, and instead kept it in.
He shook his head, "Anyway, according to this, and what the prophecy says, apparently Zappy will, and I quote, "be the one to land the fatal blow after they hurt the person they love more than anything," "
Zappy blinked and then put his paws on his head, "Oh, why is it always me?!"
"And that's all it says about this super villain? That Zappy will slay them?" Storm questioned, "Here lemme see."
