Chapter 38: Mission End-the-War is a GO!

Blaze pushed aside some long leaves. "Okay, I think we're only 10 minutes away... maybe 12 since I might start going the wrong way-"

The Eeveelutions followed Blaze as they traversed down a hill after getting out of that thick, humid jungle.

Willow and Candy were chatting it up, with M.C. following close behind, Storm and Zappy were flirt- I mean, insulting one another in a friendly way, Plucky Ducky and Phantom were talking about how they really shouldn't live in Yewnork after the war ends, Crystal was meanwhile in her journal, writing once more.

Glaceon/Crystal log #4: Hey journal! Long time no see, huh? Or, I guess, long time no write? Long time no read.. Nevermind! You understand what I was trying to say, okay? Anyway, where did we last leave off... Oh! Wow that was a long time ago.. Well, to keep it simple, we gathered the rest of the group (besides Hewa) and learned about Blaze being mind controlled and Phantom's curse and that Pepe can get possessand ROAN working with Hewa that B-

I also rediscovered how much I really liked apples :D (I think they were honey crisp).

Anyways we're going to stop them ONCE AND FOR ALL... but boy am I not excited to see Hewa again. Or Roan. Or anyone else that'll be there. Hmm. I started to write just so I could get my mind off our stomach aching trip, but I just drove myself back. Wonderful, Crystal.

Well, I'm gonna sign off early, I'm not really in the mood right now.

Crystal sighed and put her journal back through her bangs. She started to mumble to herself of the things she was PLANNING to write down, when a voice startled her.

"You're talking to yourself." Candy informed her. "You're pretty loud."

"I'm aware, Candy." Crystal grumbled. "I don't feel like writing myself or just keeping them crammed in my head."

She continued to walk and mumble more quietly to herself; Candy kept staring at her concern.

"Are you okay? You seem tense." She asked her.

"I... Don't know. A part of me is ready; ready to stop this stupid war and go on with our normal lives as friends. The other part of me is nervous and scared. We're stopping a war in a prophecy we were chosen in. Cherry on top, it's Hewa. The girl who still blames me for her parents death. This is going to be intense."

Crystal sighed again and looked down. A few seconds later, she felt something wrap around her neck and upper body. Candy's ribbons were wrapping around her

"It's gonna be alright. I mean look at us, have you seen how strong we are! We're going to kick Hewa and that Spinda in the aspercreme!"

Crystal snickered. "Aspercreme?"

"I saw it in a commercial. Plus we're not allowed to cuss in front of Pepe."

Zappy turned his head around to Candy and nodded proudly.

"You do know that I'm still this M.C. character, right?" M.C. asked her.

"Of course, but who knows what SHE could still hear." Candy responded.

"But- she can't-"
