Gwi-nam hoisted himself up on the railing and glared at Cheong-san, who hit him across the face with the tripod, making the half-bie smirk.
"Can I just say," Minari spoke. "Cham-jo wears the half-blind look better than you."
She swung down on his arm, causing him to scream loudly, gritting his teeth at the girl before shoving her hard towards the wall, and she groaned in pain. Minari got back up, yanking Cheong-san out of Gwi-nam's grip, and punched the half-bie in the face.
His hand shot out, squeezing her tightly, "If I can't have his eye, yours will do better." Gwi-nam smirk, tugging her face towards him as his thumb neared her left eye.
Suddenly, Nam-ra wrapped her hand around Gwi-nam's neck and yanked him away from Minari. The girl watched with wide eyes. "Why didn't you die?" Nam-ra asked. Her left eye was incredibly bloodshot and the veins around her eye were darker than before.
The class president reared her arm back and threw him down to where the rest of the zombies were struggling to get out of the blue tarp. Nam-ra stared at her hand in shock. "Nam-ra, hey, angel." Minari turned her to face her, watching as the veins under her eye faded away and returned to her normal skin.
Minari turned to Cheong-san, helping him push zombies back down the stairs. The fire alarm blared, and the door clicked open. "Guys!" She heard On-jo yell. "The door's unlocked!"
"Let's go!"
"One, two, three!" Su-hyeok counted, and he, Cheong-san and Minari shoved the zombies down the stairs, sprinting up the rest of the stairs where On-jo opened the door. Everyone ran out onto the roof, where a helicopter was just ascending into the air and away from them.
"Over here!"
"Help!"
"Hey!"
"Come back!"
"You're fucking kidding me," Cham-jo groaned loudly.
"We're here!"
"Help us!"
Minari knew that that chopper wouldn't be turning around at all, so she let her body slide down against the door, ending up beside Cheong-san. Both were out of breath, and weren't about to start calling out to a chopper that was long gone.
They kept yelling and yelling, but their efforts were in vain. Their efforts to get here in the first place was all for nothing. The helicopter continued flying off into the distance. Minari could hear Hyo-ryeong sobbing, and saw Cham-jo and On-jo comforting her, however, she was too shocked at the fact that Gwi-nam was alive to cry herself.
"I guess this mean's we're royally screwed, huh," Minari said, resting her head against the door.
"You're so optimistic," Cheong-san panted, sarcasm in his voice.
"Thanks."
Suddenly, there was a loud bang on the door, causing Minari to shoot up instantly, stumbling slightly as she got up too quickly. Cheong-san got up and caught her, staring at the door with her as her grip tightened on her katana. The banging continued for a short time before stopping.
Cheong-san pulled away from Minari, pressing his ear to the door. He jumped back when the sound continued again, stumbling. This time, Minari caught him.
"He's gone," informed Nam-ra softly.
"What the actual fuck?!" Dae-su huffed.
"Who's gone?" Su-hyeok asked.
