Minari was sat down beside Nam-ra, glancing at Su-hyeok, Cham-jo and Cheong-san, who were looking out the window at the school grounds, speaking in hushed tones. She leaned back against the chair, her hand brushing against her katana's sheath. Glancing down at it, she quickly looked away, crossing her arms as a small wave of guilt washed over her.

"Let's call the cops again," Na-yeon said, suddenly standing up. "They're not coming." She was sweating.

"I'm trying, but they won't pick up," On-Jo said, the phone still to her ear as she turned back to the window.

Na-yeon set her sights on Nam-ra, strutting over to her and Minari, "Hey, do something." Minari looked at her incredulously. "Tell Ms Park to come or something. Do something."

"What can she do?" Su-hyeok said, turning away from the window.

"She should be doing something," Na-yeon reasoned.

"Well, she's doing just as much as you are," Cham-jo stopped leaning against the wall, sauntering forward with a sarcastic smile. "Nothing." Minari shoved him backward with her hand, and he chuckled.

"What have you done as our classroom president?"

"Stop it," one of Na-yeon's friends mumbled and Minari started as Nam-ra got up from her chair, standing in front of Na-yeon.

"Should I go out?" she suggested. "Go to the teacher's office? Will that do?"

"Why are you asking me?" Na-yeon said and Minari bit her lip as she heard Cham-jo gently slamming his head against the window.

"You said to do something," Nam-ra responded. "Isn't that what you meant?"

"Stop it. Both of you," On-jo said from behind them. "She's saying that because you're our classroom president."

"Right. You're the classroom president," Dae-su said.

"So, just be patient, okay?" Wu-jin said with his arms around Dae-su. Nam-ra turned to them and Wu-jin turned Dae-su's face away.

"You guys are. . . funny," Nam-ra said with a slight smile.

"Oh my goodness," Cham-jo had turned around and bent down slightly. "She's smiling."

Minari cracked a smile.

"And the infection spreads," the boy said, glancing at them.

"Now that we're in this mess, I'm your classroom president?" Nam-ra said, turning to them all.

Minari sighed, running a hand through her hair as she slowly got up and leaned against the window, her arms crossed, "We've called the police, alright. All we have to do is wait a little while."
