"Look up zombie virus." Dae-Su instructed.
"No, try 'Hyosan.'" Hyo-Ryeong told Joon-Yeong. "See what's trending."
"Check my Instagram," Cham-jo added.
"I'm checking the news first," Joon-Yeong said.
"Sensible, but my thing comes after right?" Cham-jo placed a hand on his shoulder, causing Joon-Yeong to tense slightly before relaxing. Su-hyeok's eyes narrowed at the placement.
"No, look up emergency alerts."
Joon-Yeong had logged into Facebook and a whole bunch of notifications came through. Cham-jo's eyes (well technically one eye) widened before he squinted at the screen.
"Look at your notifications!1,700?" Dae-Su said in shock.
"Strange," Joon-Yeong mumbled as he scrolled slightly, finding a video of a police car that had crashed into a black car. "Okay, let's check the messages first--"
Before he could do so, the metal end of the hose smashed into the glass, causing everyone to jump and lurch away from the now broken window. Nam-ra heard Minari wince in front of her and she leaned forward slightly to find a small specs of glass in her shoulder.
"What was that?" Jonn-Yeong said, leaning into Cham-jo who stood behind him.
"I'm trying to figure out why Bare-su's hand is on my hip at the moment, so I don't know," Cham-jo blurted out, causing Su-hyeok to pat his hip teasingly. "Stop that."
The hose kept swinging, the metal hitting more and more glass into the room and they backed up. Nam-ra helped Minari remove some of the glass in her shoulder. "Did someone not make it in?" Wu-jin asked, looking around to see if one of them was missing.
"No. No one," Cheong-san said, approaching the window. Cham-jo watched Minari's hand reach out to grab Gyeong-su's sweater as the boy attempted to pull his best friend back.
"Wait. Don't go too close!" Gyeong-su warned as Minari pushed him into Su-hyeok and unsheathed her katana.
"Cheong-san, Minari, be careful."
The glass shards crunched beneath their feet as they checked the window, wind hitting them in the face lightly. "Do you see anything?"
After a few moments of inspection, Gyeong-su waved his hand to the others, indicating that there was no threat, "It's just the wind."
"I've seen horror movies, evil don't die that easy," Cham-jo pointed at the window.
"That scared me."
Suddenly, a loud growl came from the window as a zombie dangled upside down in front of the broken window, causing them all to jump and gasp.
Cheong-san and Minari fell to the ground from the scare as the zombie grabbed onto the window frame. "Look, it's coming in! Watch out! Watch out!" Dae-Su yelled. "Cheong-san, Minari, get back. Get back here."
Minari stood up, twirling her katana in her hand before stabbing it in the heart. Her eyes narrowed in confusion as the zombie continued to thrash around, attempting to crawl into the window. Yanking out her katana, she kicked it, but it grabbed onto her shoe, causing her to fall and drop her katana, "Shit!" She brought an arm behind her head to prevent it from hitting the glass shards as she was held upside down.
"Minari!" Gyeong-su yelled, watching as his friend continuously kicked out at the zombie to no avail.
"Minari," Nam-ra said softly, so softly that only Cham-jo and Su-hyeok heard her.
