baabe smiled as they arrived back to their apartment. today they had met the sweetest guy ever, he made them feel comfortable even whilst stuck in an elevator. he was just all around adorable.
baabe put their things down on the island in the kitchen before walking into their bedroom and putting on some sweats and a hoodie, before returning to the living room and plonking themself down onto the couch.
they grabbed the tv remote and their x-box controller, as they were setting up their game they heard their phone *ping*
elevator cutie :) : hey! it's ash! just wanted to see how you were doing, what you're up too :)
me : hey asher, I'm fine thank you! hbu? and I'm just about to play a game on my x-box
elevator cutie :) : oh hell yeah! what game? oh yeah, I'm great
me : probably halo or something idk yet haha
elevator cutie : HALO?! wait! what's your name on x-box? maybe we could play together? If you want too, I know we only just met today 😅
me : mines (x-box username) ! what's yours? and yes! I'd love to play with you ash
elevator cutie : sweet!!! mines ShadowHowl93 😎
baabe smiled at the name, before exiting halo and searching asher's username. they clicked on it and pressed 'add friend' (I don't know how x-box's work lol). they put their head set on, receiving a call from 'ShadowHowl93' they pressed 'accept' and his angelic voice was now able to be heard throughout baabe's head.
"hi!!!" he spoke, excitedly "hey ash" baabe replied, a stupidly large grin appearing onto their face. "you ready to play?" he asked, baabe replied with a simple "yes!"
two hours later
"ok, great, same time tomorrow or are you busy?" baabe joked "yes! of course same time tomorrow!" asher replied, a smile evident in his voice. "sweet! have a good evening, ash, hear ya later" baabe chuckled "haha! see you later (y/n)" he replied, before the pair disconnected from x-box live.
baabe placed their headset onto their coffee table, seeing the time was now 7:30pm, they decided to order from max's. pizza and wings it was, they thought as they placed their order.
switching their tv over to netflix and putting on a movie to watch, cuddled up with blankets and pillows on their couch. butterflies flying around in baabe stomach, they'd only known asher for a few hours yet he had some kind of hold on them, one they couldn't complain about.
they felt their eyes begin to close, forcing them to stay awake, since they had pizza and wings on the way.
10:30pm
baabe was lying in bed now, their eyes shut, but their mind was far from still. asher was all that was playing on their mind, asher, asher, asher. their cheeks would heat up at the mere thought of him, and the memory of his voice was enough to make their stomach soar.
after another half an hour they managed to get themselves to sleep.
