"fuck, i'm so tired!" angel exclaimed as they flopped down onto the bed. david let out a soft chuckle as he sat on the edge of his side.
today was the first day of the pack summer vacation, and it was busy to say the least.
"this bed is so comfy though!" they smiled, sliding under the duvet and burying their head into the pillows. "we picked the best room, for sure" they added, their words muffled by the pillows.
david shook his head, a smile laying upon his face as he watched his angel. "just heading the bathroom, be back in a minute" he spoke, before he left the room, angel nodded.
david thought about angel's statement of them picking 'the best room' , but he thought milo and sweetheart had it. their room was the only one with an en suite, and they only reason they had that room was because they arrived first.
he stood outside the bathroom door, and knocked a few times, since it was locked. "one minute!" asher's voice spoke from the other side of the door. david sighed.
after a little while asher came out, a stupid smile plastered over his face. "why are you so happy?" david grumbled, and asher shook his head. "no reason, just happy to be here with you all" he replied, and david felt his heart swell.
"me too, ash" he smiled, "gotta go bud, got a mate to get back to" asher winked before running back down the hall to his bedroom. david tried not to think about what that meant, but couldn't help it when he cringed.

when he arrived back to his and angel's bedroom, angel was still in the same position they were in when he left.
he sat down once again, after switching off the lights and connecting his phone to the charger. he carefully moved angel over to their own side of the bed, before laying under the covers himself.
he let out a soft moan as his head hit the pillows, a lovely feeling after a long day. "you're back" angel mumbled, wrapping their arm around david lightly, and moving over to rest their head on his chest. "yep, i'm back" he whispered, lightly kissing the top of angels head, one of his hands going up to play with their hair.
"mm, i love you" they spoke, their sleepy voice has been something david has loved since they first began dating. "i love you too, angel, get some sleep" he replied, before closing his eyes and falling into a deep sleep, with his angel in his arms.
