david x angeldavid looks beautiful in the mornings.
saturday mornings were angel's favourite, they would always wake up around ten, (they were not a morning person, at all) it was very rare that david was still in bed with them.
they walked through to the kitchen, david's back muscles flexing as he made breakfast, a sight angel adored. they walked over to him, wrapping their arms around his waist and resting their head against his back. he let a soft chuckle fall from his lips, "good morning, angel" he said. "mornin" angel replied, placing a soft kiss upon his shoulder blade, their warm lips making him shudder.
"i was just finishing making up some breakfast, you've soiled my plan, y'know" david spoke, a smile evident in his voice. "how come" angel mumbled "well, i was going to bring you breakfast in bed" he chuckled, again.
angel pouted, not that david could see, and let out an 'awe', leaving another kiss against his back. "you're so sweet" they blushed, they'd been with david for three years, yet somehow he was still able to make them blush, over the littlest things. "well, you deserve it" he replied, turning off the stove and gently removing angel's arms from around his waist, holding their wrists as he turned around, so that he was facing them now.
they moved their arms up so that they were wrapped around the back of his neck now, his wrapping around their waist. "you wanna know something?" angel spoke, their eyes locked with david's, the sun hitting them, they looked gorgeous. david simply nodded 'yes'.
"before i met you, i always thought that i was going to be a person who had to just settle for someone, i never thought anyone was going show me what love really was, especially when i was with michael" they sighed, "but over the passed three years, i've realised, that no-one should ever just settle. you came into my life and showed me what true love was, what true happiness was. i love you so much, davey, so much" they finished, a tear rolling down their cheek now.
"a-angel" david croaked out, tears beginning to flow from his eyes now, too. "i never imagined that for me, either. i thought i was never going to find a mate, especially not a mate as incredible as you" he smiled, angel smiled. "i love you too, baby, always" he leant down, and connected his lips to angel's, a sigh exiting both of their lips as they sunk into the kiss.
angel pulled away a few seconds later "wow, we're so romantic!" they joked, davey laughed, he's laughed a lot since he met them. "so romantic" david replied, as he hooked his arms under angel's thighs and picked them up, moving them over and setting them upon the counter, standing in between their legs, and resting his hands on angel's hips, once again.
"wanna finish making breakfast and watch a show on the couch?" david asked, his forehead pressed against angel's. they nodded, pressing a quick kiss against david's lips, before 'helping' (that means watching) david finished breakfast.
