caelum's tongue was poking out, he was concentrating so hard on this video game that freelancer had shown him. the freelancer was smiling over at him, they seriously couldn't wrap their head around how sweet he was.
"oh! yes! i love that!" caelum smiled, as he continued building his house on minecraft. "you're so cute, cae" freelancer chuckled, as they picked up their glass of apple juice off the coffee table, and took a sip. a blush took over caelum's face. "thanks!" he giggled, as he continued playing, everynow and then having to really look at the controller to remember which buttons do what.
"hey, caelum, i've got an idea, something you'll love" freelancer smiled. "huh! what?" caelum asked excitedly, placing the controller down next to him. "wanna build a pillow fort?" freelancer asked, standing up off the couch, and walking over to the little closet in their hallway. grabbing out all of the blankets and pillows that were stored in there.
"what's that?" caelum asked as he followed them, helping freelancer carry some of the pillows. "i'll show you!" they smiled back at him. freelancer placed the blankets down onto the floor, and began to cover the couch and the tv unit with multiple of them. leaving a little opening for caelum and themself to crawl in. "here, pass me the pillows" freelancer spoke, caelum did as they asked and passed them the pillows, not talking, just watching.
they placed the pillows down underneath the blankets, and also placed down a blanket, one they could cover them both up with. "ok! there's the fort! let's go make some snacks!" freelancer smiled, as they stood up and gently grabbed ahold of caelum's hand. pulling him into the kitchen, little giggles falling from his lips as he trailed along behind them.
ten minutes later
freelancer walked back out into the living, carrying a tray of snacks. caelum following behind carrying two glasses and a large bottle of soda. they knelt down and crawled under, into the pillow fort, placing the tray in the centre of it. "come in cae!" freelancer smiled, as they held the entrance to the fort open a little bit more for caelum to crawl in. "oh my gosh! this is so amazing!" caelum exclaimed as he placed the glasses and bottle of soda down next to the food, before sitting down next to the freelancer. "it's so cozy in here!" he giggled, as he snuggled in closer to the freelancer, resting his head on their shoulder.
"you wanna watch a movie?" freelancer asked quietly, they felt caelum nod against their shoulder, his soft hair rubbing against their cheek as he did so. freelancer smiled as they put on a movie they knew caelum would love. before snuggling in closer to him. resting their head ontop of his, the smile not leaving their face.
two hours later
"hey! deviant? i'm home" gavin spoke as he walked in through the apartment door. surprised as he saw the pillow fort that was set up in the living room. a smile taking over his face as he walked over to it, pulling back the entrance and seeing the most precious sight.
caelum and the freelancer were now laying down, both snuggled up to one another. both asleep, and had been for the past two hours. gavin simply grabbed the tray of food and drink, taking them out of the pillow fort and placing them outside of it. making room for him. he crawled in and laid down next to them, wrapping his arm around them, one arm fit around both, before he too shut his eyes and fell asleep.
