"text me when you get home, yeah?" david spoke, "of course" i replied, pulling him in for a hug, he let out a groan but eventually sunk into the hug, his muscular arms wrapping around my waist as mine wrapped around his neck. "I had a great night tonight david, thank you" i whispered into his ear "I had a great time too, y/n, thank you" he replied.

i smiled as I set my phone down on my nightstand, before slipping into bed, it was already late and since it was a Tuesday, I had work in the morning, meaning I had to go straight to sleep. i grabbed one of my pillows from the other side of my bed, pulling it into me, hugging it tight, the scent of david's cologne still filled my senses.
i nuzzled my face into the pillow, closing my eyes and falling asleep.
