Sam woke up to Bucky's rhythmic breathing, his head buried in his the crook of Sam's neck. He let his eyes flutter close once more, letting himself sit in the comfort of Bucky beside him. Moments later, he felt Bucky stir beside him.

"Morning, sleeping beauty." He got a groan and a grumbled about it "being too early" in return. Sam huffed out a laugh, and sat up from his position. "We have to get up, Buck."

"Says who?" Bucky grumbled back, being forced to pry himself from Sam. His hair was a bit of everywhere, and his eyes were hazed. He was pouting at Sam, looking at him through his eyelashes. It took all of Sam's will to not crawl back under the covers and hold this image to his chest.

"The two young avengers that wander into our house. I can hear Yelena pattering around downstairs." Sam told him, and Bucky just rolled his eyes, leaning his head on Sam's shoulder a second time.

"Five more minutes." Bucky suggested, his voice soft and gentle, sounding more like a sigh. Sam rolled his eyes fondly.

"Bucky." Sam drew out the syllables, and moved to get out of bed. Bucky secured an arm around Sam, careful to not touch any of Sam's ribs. "C'mon, Jamie." Sam tried to bargain again, to no avail.

"5 more minutes." Bucky pressed again, his voice the same gentle as before. Sam sighed in defeat.

"You're lucky I love you, asshole."

Bucky hummed against Sam's shoulder. "Merry Christmas."

"Mhm, Merry Christmas."

"Good morning." Yelena said, slightly passive-aggressive.

"Morning." Sam said, as Bucky scowled, making his way to their kitchen to make a cup of coffee.

"It's 10 in the morning." Joaquin said pointedly.

"Exactly. It's 10 in the morning." Bucky retorted, grabbing the sugar from their pantry.

"He's not a morning person." Sam said gently, walking over to the living room where the other two were seated, with Yelena on the floor beside the tree and Joaquin on the couch opposite of the window.

"You don't say." Yelena said, bemused. Sam rolled his eyes, taking a seat on the couch closest to the window. Bucky grumbled something from the kitchen about living for a century, followed by,

"Do you want some coffee, Sam?"

"Sure, thanks Buck." Yelena scoffed in offence, to which Joaquin rolled his eyes.

"You've been up for 2 hours, if you wanted coffee, you woulda made some." Joaquin argued, taking up the entire couch as he stretched. As they kept their sibling like banter going, Sam felt a hand on his shoulder, and looked up to find Bucky standing beside him. He handed Sam his coffee, going to sit beside him, with his glassy, sleepy eyes and bed head.

"Worst Christmas. 0/10 rating." Bucky grumbled beside him sipping his own coffee, pressed up against Sam. The other man smiled into his coffee cup.

"Gee, James, I don't remember you being in the air force." Yelena quipped, her argument with Joaquin finished. She was referencing to Bucky sporting Sam's faded air force t-shirt, and Sam had to bite back a grin as Bucky glared, face painted pink with embarrassment.

"You're so funny, Belova."

"I know." She said, an amused smile playing on his lips. Sam didn't know what Bucky had been talking about, this was a damn good Christmas.
